- American Championship (A-Spec): The author initially found this difficult with the wrong car (Shelby Cobra) or incorrect settings (Skid Recovery Force off). The recommended approach is to win the Dream Car Championship in the Extreme Series A-Spec to obtain the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II. Tune this car to approximately 770HP and equip Racing Soft tires.
- Indy (A-Spec): Start with the Indy track. Maintain a speed of around 180mph through the corners. This should result in lap times around 48 seconds and a victory margin of approximately 4.5 seconds.
- Laguna Seca (A-Spec): Crucially, ensure Skid Recovery Force is turned ON. Without it, the car will be difficult to control, and the competition is unforgiving. With it enabled, you can expect to win by over 10 seconds, even with less-than-perfect driving.
- Laguna Seca (B-Spec): This race requires active management. Your driver may slow down to around 130mph on corners if not monitored. To gain an advantage, aggressively pace the driver UP on the straightaways 4-5 times at the start of the race to build aggression and speed. Aim to establish a lead of about 10 seconds by lap 3. The author found that even with a significant lead, the driver could win, though by a smaller margin (1 second). It may be necessary to return to B-Spec around lap 15 to ensure the driver maintains focus and the lead.
