Quests are listed in the chapter and area where they are first obtained, with notes if they extend beyond that chapter. Some quests may be challenging but theoretically completable within the initial chapter. Sidequests and most main quests can span multiple areas and chapters; the guide lists them in a convenient order to avoid excessive backtracking. Guild-specific quests are often found at the end of chapter or area lists.
