Objective 3: Regroup with VIP 2

Alright, Ghost, it's time to link up with VIP 2. This next stretch is pretty straightforward, but don't let your guard down – the path to the US embassy is crawling with enemy troops. You'll want to use your UAV drone right off the bat to scout ahead to the southwest. Keep heading west and keep an eye out for a marksman perched way up high in a skyscraper to the southwest. Once you've dealt with him, proceed southwest through the streets. Watch out for a lone enemy near the corner on your left. After that, you'll spot a second sniper on a building directly in front of your current position. Peek around the corner to see a supply truck and a few enemy soldiers. You can either toss a few grenades at the truck to make it go boom, or just go in hot with your MR-C and clear out the rebels. Either way, once they're dealt with, push southwest to the next area.

The best way to approach this next section is to find a narrow passage and pick off the two enemies there. Then, loop around the same building to your left and find cover behind a garbage sump. You'll see two enemies down the road and one gunner on top of a building to your left (West). Once that area is clear, make your way to the entrance of Angel's Plaza. The plaza itself is clear for now, so just high-tail it straight to the embassy.

As you get close to the embassy, a bomb will detonate, kicking off an enemy assault on your position. Your first priority is to get to the embassy and order your team to take cover behind some debris on the southwestern side. Then, follow your objective marker to VIP 2's location and take cover behind the wall he's using. Stick to the left side of this concrete slab and peek around the corner. You're going to be here for a bit, so try to conserve your ammo. Immediately open fire on any troops pushing in from the east and the south. Your main job is to handle the enemies coming from the south and any that get too close. They might try to flank you on the left, so stay sharp.

Eventually, a Panhard armored vehicle will roll into the center of the area. You'll need to zoom in and take out the gunner on top. A little while later, an M1 tank will enter from the east. When it does, stay behind cover – seriously, don't pop out, or it'll take you out with a rocket. Just stay put behind the wall and wait for HQ to provide you with an Apache attack helicopter. As soon as you have control of it, order it to take out the tank and any remaining rebel troops. Start with the rebels closest to the embassy and work your way back.
