Section 07: Archives

From the start, go down the stairs. About halfway down, you'll find the DECLASSIFIED MISSION symbol on the wall. Accept the mission to find and destroy 10 Serapede eggs.

Continue down the stairs. On the lower level, destroy the first Serapede egg on the wall opposite the exit. This is Egg 1/10.

Hop over the sandbags and duck into the small room to the left of where the first egg was. Destroy the Egg 2/10 inside.

Return to the hallway and follow the cart tracks to the end and around the corner.

Proceed forward until a scene plays. Kill the Serapede that appears.

Examine the open room to the right. Destroy the Egg 3/10 in the crater and the Egg 4/10 on the wall above it.

Go to the closest door and find Egg 5/10 on the roof just inside, next to the light.

Find another Egg 6/10 against the wall on the far side of the room.

Exit the door closest to egg number 5 and turn right. In a dead end, you'll find Egg 7/10.

Return past the door you just exited and follow the passage straight ahead. Destroy Egg 8/10 on the floor to the left.

After destroying the 7th or 8th egg, a second Serapede will spawn near where the first one did. Kill it.

Check the other room that hasn't been inspected yet. Find Egg 9/10 and Egg 10/10 inside.

Exit and follow the track to the end to find a locked door. Interact with it to proceed.

Enter the next room and kill the two Serapedes and group of Tickers.

An objective marker will appear at the far end of the room. Head down the very left-hand wall, past the elevator. Look for the crimson omen logo painted on the wall. To the left of this is an Onyx Ammo Cache, and to the right is the COG TAGS (07/48).

Approach the objective marker. A Grinder will appear on a raised balcony. An Emergence Hole will open below, releasing Pyros. Kill them all.

Head to where the Emergence Hole was and enter the hole in the wall behind it.

Continue forward until a scene plays. Pick up the Breachshot weapon and proceed to the objective marker to move to the next area.
