Comprehending Free Quests and Drop Mechanics

This guide explains the mechanics of event free quests and item drops in Fate/Grand Order. Event free quests feature a rotating enemy rate-up that changes every 12 hours, increasing the spawn chance of enemies belonging to the rate-up class. The possible enemies in each quest will change accordingly.

The enemy rate-up schedule, based on the Japanese server's order and adjusted for UTC (which the North American version follows), is as follows:

This schedule is a guideline and may vary upon release. For example, if the Rider class has a rate-up, Rider enemies are more likely to appear in quests like the Choco Coin Gathering (Four Horseman). This rotation continues throughout the event, requiring players to adjust their active parties every 12 hours to maximize drop bonuses.

Choco Coin Drop Mechanics

Unlike some events, there are no Servants that provide drop bonuses for this event, nor is the bonus restricted to female characters. All drop bonuses are tied to Craft Essences (CEs).

• Melty Sweetheart: Increases the drop of ALL-type coins.
• Gacha CEs: These CEs increase the drop of coins specific to the class of the Servant they are equipped to. For instance, equipping Valentine's Dojo to Stheno increases Assassin coin drops, while equipping it to Artoria increases Saber coin drops.
• Valentine's CEs: CEs obtained from Servants in the shop increase the drop of chocolate coins belonging to the Servant the chocolate is associated with. For example, Stheno's Chocolate CE, "Snake Choco (With Love)", will increase the drop rate of Assassin coins regardless of which Servant it is equipped to.

Careful management of party members and CEs is crucial for achieving the highest possible coin drops from these quests. Players should not assume a standard party composition with event CEs will be optimal for every quest. Party composition advice will be provided in the thread.
