Alright, let's talk about Flails in Elden Ring Nightreign. These weapons are pretty unique, featuring a spiked head attached to a handle by a chain. What's cool is that their blows can't be parried, and they're great for building up Bleed. Plus, their charged attacks can really pack a punch by whirling the head around!

Flail

This is your basic Flail, and it's a solid choice if you're looking to get into Bleed builds early. It's got the standard Spinning Chain skill, which costs 8 FP but goes up to 10 FP when you're channeling it. It causes 50 Bleed buildup and can be upgraded with Smithing Stones. You'll need 10 Strength and 18 Dexterity to wield it, and it scales with D Strength and D Dexterity, giving you a base Physical Attack of 109. It weighs 5.0.

Location: You can find this one pretty early in the game at the Gatefront Ruins Site of Grace. Just look for one of the carriages to the east – it's sitting in a treasure chest. Try to clear out the guards or sneak past them to grab it.

Nightrider Flail

This Flail is a step up, featuring two additional bludgeoning heads. It also uses the Spinning Chain skill and causes 50 Bleed buildup. It can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with magical items. Upgrading it with Smithing Stones is also an option. The FP cost is 8, going up to 10 when channeling. You'll need 10 Strength and 24 Dexterity for this one, and it scales better with Dexterity (E Strength, C Dexterity), offering a Physical Attack of 112. It's a bit heavier at 6.0 weight.

Location: This weapon is dropped by the Night's Cavalry mini-boss. Keep in mind, this boss only shows up at night! You'll find it just outside the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace in the Weeping Peninsula, south of Limgrave. Just cross the bridge leading to that Site of Grace, and look for the boss when it's dark.

Chainlink Flail

This is a pretty hefty Flail, described as a spiked iron tube attached by a chain, wielded by Mad Pumpkin Heads. It causes Bleed and has similar damage to the Nightrider Flail, but it's built for Strength builds. It has the standard Spinning Chain skill, 50 Bleed buildup, and can be upgraded. The FP cost is 8 (10 when channeling).

Location: You get this by defeating the Mad Pumpkin Head enemy at the Foot of the Four Belfries Site of Grace. Head north from there, past the jellyfish, and you'll find an enemy camp. The Mad Pumpkin Head you need to fight is behind a hill. To increase your chances of it dropping, use a Silver Pickled Fowl Foot. This might take a few tries, but if you're a fan of Flails and Strength builds, it's definitely worth it.
