Master the Pyromancer in Dungeonborne! Learn about their devastating spells like Pyroblast and Fire Blast, crucial passives like Rekindle and Ignite, and the best gear to wield their fiery power.

Hey there, future Dungeonborne legend! So you're looking to dive into the fiery world of the Pyromancer? Awesome choice! They're a blast, capable of melting enemies from afar or up close with a well-timed blast. Just a heads-up, though, they're a bit fragile, so you'll want to be smart about positioning. Newcomers might find them a tad tricky at first, so don't worry if you want to get a feel for the game before fully unleashing the Pyromancer's chaos. ### The Pyromancer Pyromancers are all about dealing massive damage. They trade some defense for serious offensive power, and can totally turn the tables in a fight with a single spell. They're not the best in melee, preferring to sling spells with their staves. If enemies get too close, their Fire Blast can push them back and even speed up your casting if you've got the right passive. These mages rock Cloth armor and wield Staves, or one-handed Swords with Shields. Since they're a bit squishy, you'll rely on good positioning and the cooldown of Fire Blast to keep foes at bay. Seriously, watch that cooldown! ### Flame of Destruction Pyromancers are devastating magic wielders, capable of dealing enormous damage up close, or at a distance. Trading off defense for offense, they are capable of turning the tide of a fight in a single spellcast. Pyromancers are weak in melee combat, preferring to deal damage with their staves and spells. When enemies get too close, they can use their Fire Blast to knock them away, and gain casting speed if they have the stats to unlock their passive skill "Swift Casting". Pyromancers wear Cloth armor and use Staves, and 1-handed Swords and Shields. They are rather fragile, relying on positioning and the cooldown of Fire Blast to keep enemies at bay. They are considered a rather difficult class and some newcomers may find they wish to learn the ropes a bit before attempting to wield the unchained chaos of the Pyromancer's flames. ## Skills * Pyroblast - Cast Time 1s / 4s, no CD: This is your bread and butter. You can charge it up to 2 stages. Stage 1 shoots 3 tracking fireballs, dealing Fire damage. Stage 2 unleashes a big fireball that explodes on impact, dealing more Fire damage. If you fully charge Stage 2, you'll gain the ability to levitate by pressing the spacebar while airborne. (Requires a Staff/Orb) * Fire Blast - Instant, 35s CD: This is your escape and crowd control. It creates a fiery ring that knocks back nearby enemies and slows them down for a bit. With its long cooldown and your own fragility, you've got to use this wisely, especially against aggressive melee fighters. Try to use high ground and knock them off ledges for a huge advantage! ## Passives These are key to really making your Pyromancer shine: * Rekindle: At 42 Will, this passive resets the cooldown of Fire Blast when you get a kill. Super handy for chaining abilities! * Swift Casting: At 30 Dexterity, hitting an enemy with Fire Blast grants you Swift Casting for 10 seconds. This cuts the channeling time of your next Pyroblast in half. Great for getting those big spells off faster! * Ignite: At 50 Intelligence, both Pyroblast and Fire Blast will apply Ignite to enemies, causing damage over time. More burning, more fun! * Iris of Fire: At 87 Intelligence, when you use Fireball, it converts the targeted fire source into a Fire Eye. This eye automatically attacks nearby enemies and applies a short Ignite. Pretty neat! * Fire Shield: At 24 Stamina, you gain a short-duration shield whenever you use Fire Blast. A little extra protection never hurts! ## Weapons & Armor As a Pyromancer, you can equip One-handed swords, shields, orbs, and staves. For armor, stick to cloth – it's what you'll be wearing.
