Alright, let's tackle Chapter VI of Dragon Quest Heroes, titled 'World Tree's Woe.' This chapter throws a few different challenges at you as you ascend the World Tree, Yggdrasil. We'll break down each section to make sure you come out on top!

Tussle in the Treetops

Your main goal here is to defeat all the monsters. Bianca and Nera are joining you, so get ready for some tree-climbing action! Keep an eye on your minimap; the purple areas indicate spots where characters can fall. If your squad falls, they'll take a small HP hit. The good news? If enemies fall, even flying ones, they're instantly defeated! This is a great way to get some extra gold, loot, and monster medals dropped back on the surface. Just deal with the mawkeepers as they come, and you'll clear this part.

Showdown in the Crown

More organized monsters are attacking, suggesting someone's pulling the strings. You need to push your way to the top of the World Tree to find out who! Again, clear out the mawkeepers. When two 'killing machines' appear, head towards one of them, and a stranger will take out the other. After that, a final mawkeeper will show up, followed by a 'hell gladiator.' These hell gladiators are common later on, so be aware of their charge-up attacks. You'll have to deal with these new enemies in a specific way.

Running into a Brick Wall

You've fought through the waves of monsters and reached the summit of the World Tree, with Yggdrasil's Crown within reach. Your objective is to defeat the 'grim golem.' Be mindful of the two sides of the map that are fall zones; use this to your advantage as you maneuver to attack. Once you deplete the grim golem's health, you'll get to throw him off the tree. Sending him flying down below means he's done for!

Greedy for Ingredients 2

This section is a bit different. To increase the number of ingredients you can carry, you'll need to turn in three pieces of 'dragon hide' obtained from 'hacksauruses.' Make sure you collect these as you progress!
