Conton City is the main hub world in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It is larger than Toki Toki City from the first game and offers more activities. You will likely spend 80-90% of your time here rather than on Parallel Quests and Time Patrols. Completing Campaign mode Part A will have already familiarized you with parts of the city, but this section does not require completion of that part.

Conton City has several distinct areas, each modeled after parts of the Dragon Ball universe and Toki Toki City. This guide explains each area and its functions, excluding purely aesthetic areas that house important non-player characters (NPCs) like instructors.

Throughout Conton City, you will find robots called transfer shop clerks. These are marked on the (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) as tiny red dots. They allow you to teleport to any other transfer bot free of charge. However, some bots are inaccessible from the start; you must talk to them in person before you can use other bots to teleport to them. An example is the transfer bot outside the Time Nest; you must first speak to it directly before you can use it for travel. You will earn a trophy for talking to all of them. Finding them is easy as they are marked by red dots on the (map), but some can only be reached once you unlock the ability to fly later in the game.

Conton City is where several side quests and activities outside of Time Patrol occur. These include instructors' quests, side quests where you fight other time patrollers, and Parallel Quests via NPCs. Other important events include special classes held by Krillin and Yamcha (explained in the events and side quests section) and Expert Missions (which will have their own section after being unlocked beyond Campaign Mode Part B).

Aside from these activities, you can find shiny blue objects on the ground around Conton City. These can contain items such as food, capsules, and accessories.
