Walkthrough
- 1After the initial cutscene at Hi-Hat Cafe, head right to catch up with Inspector Holiday.
- 2Follow Holiday to the Denis residence.
- 3Upon arrival, press 'A' to continue and witness a cutscene with Inspector Holiday and Brad.
- 4Talk to Mr. Sanjeev Denis. During the conversation, you'll learn about the crime, his butler Barnes, and receive Mr. Denis' testimony and a photo of the stolen Aurora Drop jewel. You'll also get a tutorial on the Case Journal.
- 5Head to the jewel storage room on the second floor. Use the stairs, then go right. Interact with the officer outside the room before entering.
- 6Search the room for clues. Examine the display case, its lock, the jewel holder, cotton with a blue feather, cotton by itself, and the half of the jewel case glass.
- 7Deduce how the jewel was stolen. The correct deduction is: "The culprit cut open the case and stole the jewel."
- 8Make a further deduction: "Glass was cut, but the door wasn't."
- 9Mr. Denis will enter the room. You'll learn Barnes has the door key and Mr. Denis has the display case key.
- 10Leave the room and investigate a blue feather found near the window. Note that it's a different shade from the one in the room.
- 11Head downstairs and return to where you first spoke with Mr. Denis.
- 12Interview Larry Turner. You can ask about the crime, the culprit, and the Aurora Drop. You'll learn about a "Red Pokemon."
- 13Interview Claudia Denis. You can ask about what she witnessed, Barnes, Ducklett, and the Aurora Drop. You'll receive Mrs. Denis' testimony.
- 14Attempt to talk to Clefable, who is suspicious.
- 15Go to the room with Mr. Denis and Growlithe. Growlithe is unhappy about questions regarding the incident.
- 16Ask Mr. Denis about the "symbol of revival."
- 17A cutscene will trigger as the police finish questioning Barnes. You can now interview Brandon Barnes.
- 18Interview Barnes about the time of the incident, the culprit, and the Aurora Drop. You'll receive Barnes' Testimony and see a photo of his Pokemon, Ducklett.
- 19The next objective is to interview Growlithe and Clefable.
