After the initial cutscene at Hi-Hat Cafe, head right to catch up with Inspector Holiday.

Upon arrival, press 'A' to continue and witness a cutscene with Inspector Holiday and Brad.

Talk to Mr. Sanjeev Denis. During the conversation, you'll learn about the crime, his butler Barnes, and receive Mr. Denis' testimony and a photo of the stolen Aurora Drop jewel. You'll also get a tutorial on the Case Journal.

Head to the jewel storage room on the second floor. Use the stairs, then go right. Interact with the officer outside the room before entering.

Search the room for clues. Examine the display case, its lock, the jewel holder, cotton with a blue feather, cotton by itself, and the half of the jewel case glass.

Exit the apartment, and a cutscene will trigger at the Hi-Hat Cafe. Talk to Rachel and then head to the Southern Ruins to meet the Professor.

When controlling Tim, proceed towards the ruins. You'll encounter Rowlet, Charjabug, and a Zigzagoon with a Fossil Collector. Further on, you'll find a Leavanny, which can trigger a 'Local Concern'. Continue uphill past a Zigzagoon, Ursaring, and Monferno. Interacting with the Ursaring will also trigger a 'Local Concern'.

Reach the top of the knoll, where a cutscene introduces Chris. Approach and interact with the ruin entrance. Examine three areas: the image to the left of the door (footprints), the main door (relief), and the top of the door (snow). Also, examine the switch on the ground to the right of the door.

To interview the Pokemon, return to the area with the Ursaring and Monferno. Go past Monferno to find a path leading to the Quiz Professor and some Lotad. Interact with the Lotad and ask about themselves, the place, and if they've seen Professor Gordon.

Head back to the Monferno and interact with it. Ask about itself, the snow, and if it has seen Professor Gordon.

At the end of the first path upon arriving at the Southern Ruin, you'll come across a Leavanny. Interacting with the Leavanny will give you the task of giving a leaf clothes to Swadloon. There are two Swadloon to give them to. The first is near the entrance of the ruins. The other Swadloon is inside the ruins, to the right of a statue.

Objective: Find the missing Ursaring
The Ursaring is not far from the Leavanny encountered early in the Southern Ruins, standing near a Monferno. The missing Ursaring will be in the ruins and frozen, near Mr. Mime and Bergmite.

Objective: Take the quiz professor's Pokémon quiz
You'll encounter the Quiz Professor at the Southern Ruins near the lake. You'll get three hints and interact with the Pokémon before returning to the Quiz Professor.
- What winged Pokémon has a round body and adorable eyes? Answer: Rowlet. Location: Near the start of the Southern Ruins on a rock.

The start of finding Cleffa is at the location shown in the guide. There are two Cleffa to find from the start. One is located near some Lotad, and the other is near the Passimian. The last Cleffa requires Darmanitan to find it and is located near the fossil collector.

Stop Vikavolt and Heracross: Near the start, you'll see the Pokémon fighting. Find someone with a Sylveon to ask for assistance.

Find Meowth's brooch: Locate a Meowth near a shop. It needs its brooch, which can be found in the forest near water. Return it to Meowth, then speak to the Ceramics Shop owner.
