Level 4: The Pits

Complete walkthrough for Level 4: The Pits in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Find the Silver Gem, Crystal, and navigate all the obstacles and enemies.

Walkthrough: 1. Proceed forward, jump over the initial pit. 2. Continue past the turtle to find a mask in a box. 3. Jump over more pits, avoiding the bird near the boxes. 4. Break all boxes, letting TNT boxes fall to start their timers. Move away before they explode. 5. Continue past the bird and break the next three boxes. 6. Go down, jump over a pit, and deal with another bird. 7. Ignore the turtle and proceed to the first checkpoint. 8. Jump on the Arrow Box to break the Bounce Box, then break the Arrow Box. 9. Break the box with the mask. 10. Walk along the narrow path past the bird. 11. At the fork, choose a path (left for Crystal, both paths needed for Silver Gem). LEFT PATH: 12. Jump over two pits and break the ? Box. 13. Proceed past enemies to a checkpoint on a platform surrounded by pits. 14. Past the checkpoint, break the remaining boxes and the ! Box. 15. Jump over the pit and pass two birds. 16. The CRYSTAL is located here. 17. Continue past turtles until the paths merge. RIGHT PATH: 18. Jump over the first pit and break the boxes. 19. Slide into and spin turtles. 20. Continue past more turtles to a checkpoint. 21. Proceed past even more turtles to a covered area with boxes. 22. Note: Some boxes may be inaccessible if the ! Box on the left path wasn't hit. 23. Past these boxes, you'll encounter a pit and a bird. 24. The paths merge after this point. AFTER PATHS MERGE: 25. Go past the turtle, jump over a pit, and get the next checkpoint. 26. Drop into the big pit and kill the rats. 27. Hop on the mushroom to enter the BONUS STAGE (optional). 28. Follow the Wumpa Fruit trail and break the box next to the pit. 29. Enter the pit and kill the rats. 30. Use the mushroom to jump out and follow the narrow path. 31. Break the box and go past the turtles to the next pit with rats. BONUS STAGE: 1. Jump onto the Reinforced Box and break the Bounce Box above it. 2. Body slam the Reinforced Box to break it. 3. Jump onto the platform to your right and jump on the TNT. 4. Go to the stack of two TNT boxes and jump on the top one. 5. Stand on the top TNT box and jump to the platform on the right before it explodes. 6. Slide into the boxes under the metal boxes and crawl through. 7. Jump down the Bounce Boxes to the platform on the right (do not break them). 8. Jump onto the stack of eight boxes and body slam them to break the Reinforced Boxes. 9. Jump to the platform on the right, then to the next one. 10. Return to the last platform to get the life in the box. 11. Go back left and ascend the Bounce Boxes. 12. Go back under the metal boxes and break the two Crash Boxes to get lives. 13. Go under the metal boxes again and break all the Bounce Boxes. 14. Return to the right and ride the platform up.
