Level 18: Cold Hard Crash

At the start of the level, jump onto the platform in the first pit and quickly jump off over the rest of the pit. Do not stand on this platform for long as it will fall.

Break all of the boxes, then jump over the next pit.

Watch out for penguins sliding down the small hill.

At the top, jump onto the boxes stacked on top of metal boxes, starting with the one on top of a single metal box, then the one atop two metal boxes, then the one atop three metal boxes, and finally the one atop four metal boxes. Drop down.

Kill or pass the sea lions and repeat the box-breaking process on the other side.

Jump onto the platform in the middle of the pit and quickly jump off to the other side before it falls.

Kill the penguin here and break the box by it.

Jump over the next pit onto the ice, watching out for sea lions sliding towards you.

After jumping over two more pits with ice beside them, jump on the platform to reach the next part of the level.

Break the level's first checkpoint (a marker indicating progress) in front of you and proceed right until you reach the crushers.

Get under the wooden crusher when safe, then quickly get past the stone crusher before it crushes you.

Stop short of the icicles so they fall without hurting you, then cross the wooden bridge quickly as its planks will fall after you.

At the next crushers, wait until the wooden one is about to go up, then slide under the stone one and walk past the wooden one.

Let the icicles above you fall, then continue across the wooden bridge.

Kill the sea lion here and bounce up the three bounce boxes to the ? Box. Break the ? Box, then break the three bounce boxes.

Jump down the next pit with a question mark behind it to reach the BONUS STAGE.

Break the box past the bonus stage and come up to where the icicles are above the TNT (a type of explosive box).

One icicle will fall on the TNT, activating its timer. Move back and let the TNT explode.

Once it has exploded, let all remaining icicles fall before continuing.

Jump up the small cliff and take the lower path when presented with a higher or lower option.

Break the two boxes and watch out for the spiked enemy. Do not jump on him when his spikes are up. Kill him and hit the ! Box (a special box) that he was in front of.

Go back and take the upper path. Break the large stack of boxes, then jump up the metal boxes forming stairs above the pit.

From the metal boxes, jump up to the next platform and kill the penguin on the edge.

Go down to the next platform and jump over the gap. Kill the platform enemy and break the boxes here, including the checkpoint.

If you made it here without getting killed, you can take the SKULL PLATFORM PATH. If not, go down the platforms to the right and fall into the pit with the Wumpa Fruit (a collectible fruit) leading down.

Slide down the ice-covered slopes. Get the life (an extra chance) near the end, then break all boxes at the bottom.

Go right, across the ice, and jump over the pit.

Kill the penguin and walk around. Break all boxes here, then jump onto the TNT.

Jump over the pit on the right before the TNT explodes and kill the penguin.

Hop onto the TNT here and kill the penguin to the right of it.

Break the checkpoint and the box on top of it.

To the right of the checkpoint, there are wooden crushers. When they go up, run under the first and slide along the ice past the second.

Jump over the next pit and slide over the ice, past the wooden crusher.

Continue past where the ice was and kill the spiked enemy at the end of the area with the low ceiling.

Drop down to the next platform and break the four boxes forming a wall.

Jump onto the metal arrow box once the wall boxes are broken and bounce up to the next platform.

Kill the penguin here and jump over the pit on the right to the next platform.

When you land, break open the checkpoint.

To the right of the checkpoint, jump onto the metal box, then jump up to the next platform.

Kill the spiked enemy here and drop down at the end of the platform.

Kill the penguin and continue to the right.

Hit the first two ! Boxes you see, then go right some more.

When you reach the next two ! Boxes, hit them. This will activate the four boxes to the right of you. Break all of them.

Walk around and jump over the Nitro (a dangerous box) box, landing on the penguin.

Jump down to the next platform, jump over the Nitro here, and land on this penguin.

Break the box on the right, then jump down to the next platform.

You can jump into the alcove here to get Wumpa Fruit.

Break all three boxes on the platform in front of the alcove, then jump to the next platform.

There is a Crash Box (a special box) behind the two boxes of Nitro in the alcove here. Jump up to the alcove and slide to the back on one of the sides to pass the Nitro. Jump onto the Crash Box and slide back out one of the sides.

Once you have the Crash Box, jump to the next platform and then jump up to the ice.

Slide along to the right, past the stone crushers.

There is a life above you near the end; slide and jump to get it.

Break the boxes at the end of the ice and continue along the path.

Drop down the pit with the arrows behind it to get to the next part of the level.

Get the checkpoint and jump over part of the pit to where the penguin is.

Jump over to the next part of the path and jump over all the boxes of Nitro here.

Jump over the pit again and get the CRYSTAL (a primary collectible).

Stay away from the pit on the left and kill the spiked enemy moving back and forth.

Past here, kill the penguin and break the box by three boxes of TNT.

Jump on the box, then jump on the TNT. Go past the TNT and break the next box. Kill the...
