Guide through Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow's Garden of Madness (2). Learn strategies for Dario Bossi and navigate the treacherous castle.
Alright, let's tackle the Garden of Madness (2) in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow! If you're a bit turned around, this is the third warp point from the left. Head up the passage, and in the next room, take the exit in the top right. You'll find yourself in another shaft with a Catoblepas. Keep climbing this shaft, take the top left door, and then head left. You've seen this area before, so just keep going left until you spot a pile of junk with a skull icon above it. Double jump up to that skull to snag an Elfin Robe, and then deal with the Skeleton Apes.
In the next room, you'll encounter a Mollusca. I find the best way to handle these is by jump-kicking them until they're cornered. Hitting their eye stalks seems to do the trick, and then you can finish them off with your weapons. Once that's done, move on to the next room.
This next area has two Treants and a Barbariccia. Honestly, they shouldn't give you too much trouble at this point in the game. Over on the far right, you'll find a save point. Make sure to use it! Then, backtrack to the previous room and head up to the next area. Take out the Rycuda you find there, and then it's time to enter the boss door.
BOSS: DARIO BOSSI
After a bit of a chat with Dario, it's time for another showdown, and thankfully, the music is still awesome! This fiery opponent is a bit tougher than his previous appearance, but he's definitely manageable. Here's what he's got:
- Fireball: He'll shoot a fireball at you. Just like with most things in this game, jumping over it is your best bet.
