Discover the locations of the Sapphire Butterfly, Forger's Steel Ingot, Ogre Bone, and Phoenix Feather needed to craft the Phoenix Wing in Blades of Fire. Your ultimate guide!

Alright, so you're looking to forge the Phoenix Wing, huh? That's a pretty sweet upgrade! Don't worry, I'll walk you through exactly where to snag all the materials you need. We've got the Sapphire Butterfly, Forger's Steel Ingot, Ogre Bone, and the Phoenix Feather. Let's get them all so you can get that wing!

Sapphire Butterfly Location

First up, the Sapphire Butterfly. You'll need the Light Rune for this one. Once you've got it, head back to the Ancient Garden Balcony or the Throne Room in The Crimson Fort. Just head out of the fort using the northwestern bridge. You'll see clouds of these butterflies, but you can't grab them yet. Follow them – they'll lead you to a ledge to the left of the bridge. Drop down, go to the rock face, and use your weapon with the Light Rune. Adso will translate some writing, revealing a cave entrance. Head inside, interact with the butterflies, and boom – Sapphire Butterfly Key Item!

Forger’s Steel Ingot Location

Next, the Forger's Steel Ingot. This is chilling in Rogg’s Lair, which is near Koko’s Hollow. To get to Koko's Hollow, take the zipline from Dhyrias’ Forge down to Lava Temple, then another zipline from there to Koko's Hollow. Once you're there, head north. About halfway up the path, you'll see an entrance to the lair on your right. Go in, and you'll hear someone calling for help. Head up the ramp and around the edge to find a girl in a cage. Free her, and then some Roggs will smash through a wall. Take care of them, go through the new opening, and open the chest inside to snag the Ingot.

Ogre Bone Location

The Ogre Bone is probably the easiest one. Find Tok, who hangs out in the Light Rune area near Aran and Adso’s Camp anvil (that's the first forge in Tok’s Kingdom). Fast travel to the anvil, then follow the ledge opposite it to the north to find the Light Rune. Equip a weapon with it, and let Adso work his magic to open up a new area. Head over to Tok, who'll be sitting on his throne across from the entrance. Chat with him, and he'll hand over the Ogre Bone. Easy peasy!

Phoenix Feather Location

Save this one for last. You'll need to talk to Glinda about it, and she's the one who actually crafts the Phoenix Wing. Find Glinda in Dhyrias’ Forge. Go through the forge and then through the gap in the wall at the back. Climb up the crab's leg, enter the hut, and talk to Glinda about the Phoenix Feather. She'll realize she has one on her and give it to you. That's all the materials you need!

Once you've got all four items, head back to Glinda in Dhyrias’ Forge. Hand them over, and after a little cutscene, she'll forge the wing and attach it to the Golem Bird. Then you're good to go!
