Part 8

Follow our Battlefield 3 Part 8 walkthrough to clear the blockade, secure the bank plaza by destroying tanks with the Javelin, and clear the atrium.

A burning enemy breaks through a door. Follow your squad into the apartment and equip your shotgun. To breach the first door, continuously press E. Be ready to breach the second door, as there are three enemies past it: one behind the door, one to the right, and one straight ahead. After killing them, go outside and get into the humvee.

OBJECTIVE - CLEAR BLOCKADE

After exiting the humvee, run after the "follow" guy until he kicks down a door and you emerge outside again. You are on the bridge where the RPG and other enemies were shooting from. There is a lot of cover here; prone behind the cars. You will not be able to see all enemies, so when under fire, take cover, move out, shoot to kill, and return to cover. If you are being fired upon and cannot see the enemy, they are covered by fog, and you need to advance to get a clear view. Move from cover to cover. After killing all enemies, follow your squad ahead.

OBJECTIVE - PROCEED TO BANK

Near the end of this road, hit Space to climb up. Immediately look left and you should see a car. Run behind it and go prone ASAP, as more enemies are ready to ambush you on the road below and in front. Stay behind this car on top throughout this section and kill from there. Some enemies are close, requiring you to crouch instead of prone to see them. Others emerge from a window to the left of the road ahead. Some enemies are far away and difficult to spot but can still be killed from your position. If you do not have the SCAR (the assault rifle from the beginning of the mission), you will sorely miss it and may not be able to kill the enemies, forcing you to go down and take cover behind the cars to shoot. If you are near the car on top, keep moving from the left to the right and vice versa to spot enemies. Since it is dark, you will need to locate enemies by their firing sounds. There are many enemies, so this will take some time.

After hearing friendlies and no longer seeing enemies, go down near the friendlies, but keep running ahead of them into the crack in the ground. Do not stop until you reach the end near a door.

OBJECTIVE - SECURE BANK PLAZA

After a long run, you will exit an apartment. After the heavy armor in front of you is destroyed, follow your squad to some stairs. Enemies are above the stairs, so be careful. If you were right behind the "follow" guy, he would have signaled you to slow down near the stairs. Another enemy emerges from the trailer to the right on top of the stairs; watch out. Pick up the Javelin.

Go prone and slowly move up. The low wall in front of you is destroyed by a tank, and shortly after, a red attack marker appears. To attack the tank with the Javelin, crouch from prone and zoom in. Place the red marker in the middle and listen for a beeping sound. When the beeps become continuous, fire your weapon. After destroying the first tank, look far to the right for another tank; stay prone until it gets closer and hit it. A third tank then appears from the left.

After hitting all three tanks, go down and run ahead to the move marker. Follow Matkovich, keeping an eye on your right. If there is a wall, move normally; if there is empty space, sprint. After two sprints, stop and wait for your squad. You will come under heavy fire in this area if you roam; just move out, run, and dive prone behind the sandbags ahead. Move to the left of the sandbags and run to the move marker from cover to cover. It is a waste of time trying to shoot enemies here as they keep coming; just move to the marker. After leaving the first sandbags, sprint ahead and go prone near the wall ahead. You will see more sandbags to the right; go around them and up the stairs to the left, just behind these bags. When you reach Mat, take cover as there are enemies ahead. After killing three enemies, follow Mat, climb the wall, stand below the stairs to boost him up, then go up the stairs and into the building through the window.

CLEAR THE ATRIUM

As soon as you drop, hit E and left-click to kill the enemy. Follow Mat outside and walk up to the next guy to knife him. Stay behind the glass to the right and shoot the two enemies upfront. Crouch and move. When you turn left, be ready to kill another enemy crouching in front of you. Stay down and hug the left wall. Move along the wall to sneak up and shoot four enemies. When you reach another left turn, there's an enemy behind a pillar and another close to you after you turn. Follow your squad to where they are crouched behind the stairs. Shoot the enemy to the left on the stairs. Stay low and beside your squad. If your friends are doing the killing, go down through the door, equip your shotgun, rappel down, and throw the flashbang by left-clicking.

OBJECTIVE - SEARCH THE BANK

Inside the room, start shooting immediately and kill the three enemies in front of you. Move left and run to the wall in the middle of the two doors. Go left and be ready; take out the shotgun if you haven't already.
