Battlefield 3 Sewer Chase walkthrough: chase down Solomon, get the thermal scope weapon, and learn about multiplayer Conquest.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
As soon as you fall, hold the trigger and after the guy in front of you is dead, take his weapon as it has a thermal scope.
  2. 2
Move on and kill the next enemies. There is plenty of cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (areas that provide protection from enemy fire) behind the concrete projections from the walls.
  3. 3
Be careful as there are laser blinders on some enemy weapons; you will be blinded if you do not pick up the weapon from the first guy.
  4. 4
Use the cover around you and keep moving.
  5. 5
Outside, you get a handgun; shoot in the traffic so no car hits you.
  6. 6
After the crash, Solomon appears. To kill him, press SPACE, E, LEFT CLICK, E, and continuous SPACE.
Tips
  • If you keep pushing forward without stopping, enemies will be on their toes and you can kill them easily.
  • If you assist in killing an enemy, you get points equal to the damage you did before your teammate killed them.
  • You may get extra bonuses for a headshot (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill) (a shot that hits the enemy's head, often resulting in instant death) and various other actions.
  • Destroying vehicles is profitable, granting 250 points. A tank offers extra protection.
  • Filling all seats of a tank makes it easier, but hope your partner is good with the mini gun.

Multiplayer / Co-op Coverage

Multiplayer is a core part of Battlefield 3. You get 100 points for killing an enemy. If you assist in killing them, you get points equal to the damage you did before your teammate killed them. You may get extra bonuses for a headshot and various other actions. Destroying vehicles is also very profitable, granting 250 points. The tank is helpful for extra protection. If you fill up all seats of your tank, it will be easier, but hope your partner is good with the mini gun.

Conquest Large & Conquest

The only difference between Conquest Large and Conquest is that there are no vehicles in Conquest, but Conquest Large may have vehicles ranging from jeeps and tanks to boats and jets, depending on the map.

These are considered the best modes in multiplayer. They are similar to capture the flag but with a twist. There are about five flag locations on the map. One country (US or Russia) spawns on one side of the map, and the other country spawns on the opposite side. Your goal is to capture the flag points. The advantage of capturing flag points is that your country's soldiers will be able to respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) (reappear in the game after being killed) from the flag locations currently under your control. Otherwise, they will respawn at the original spawn point.

Each time a player dies, they can choose to respawn in any location listed on the deploy screen (the screen you see when you die where you can select classes). Each time a player spawns, their country loses a point. Each country starts with 250 points. If your team reaches 250 spawns before the other team, you lose.

You can capture a flag if you are within 50 meters of it. When in an area with a flag, if there are more members of your team than those from the other team, you will see a circle filling up around the alphabet representing the flag area. If the circle is fully filled, you have obtained the flag. Enemies can still capture this flag.

If you are the first to reach the flag area and successfully obtain the flag, you get 250 points. If you assist, you get 200 points. Enemy flags are represented by an orange color. If you see an alphabet in orange, that area is held by the enemy.

To capture an enemy flag, go there and stay until the orange circle decreases around the alphabet representing the flag area. When the circle is fully reduced, you have neutralized the flag. Then, the circle will start filling towards your team capturing the flag. All soldiers in the area when the flag is neutralized get 200 points.

If you are the first person in an enemy flag area and successfully neutralize and capture the flag, you get 450 points.

If any team holds more than half the flags, the enemies will lose points (tokens), and your team will move closer to winning the round.

Tips to gain a few extra points
  • As the game starts, when the timer reaches T-5 (5 seconds remaining), you can move and sprint to the nearest ground vehicle and head to the nearest flag point. The flag points are marked with alphabets (A, B, C, D, E) and visible on the screen. Check which two flags are closest to your spawn point.
  • As soon as the game starts and the countdown begins, rush to the nearest flag point in a vehicle (or not). Remember that you can hold 'shift' to boost your vehicle speed.
  • Rush to the nearest point and stay there. After you get the flag, rush to the point nearest from there and get that one too.
  • If you are the first to get to these flags, you will have earned 500 points. If you are not the first, you still get 400 points.
  • From here, advance to the next area.
