--------------------------------[WALKTHROUGH]----------------------------------
Follow the Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 1 walkthrough, from escaping the police car to making critical choices at Hershel's Farm.
- 1Begin inside a police car, engaging in a timed conversation with choices that affect companion attitudes.
- 2After a crash, regain consciousness and examine the shotgun, the cop, and your handcuffs.
- 3Kick the car window four times and press W (Forward Key) to exit.
- 4Press W to move to the other side of the car.
- 5Examine the shotgun, then pick it up if desired.
- 6Take the shotgun SHELL near the shotgun.
- 7Approach the cop, look at him, and take the KEYS from his pocket.
- 8Use the keys to unlock your handcuffs.
- 9Lee will drop the keys; grab them again and continue unlocking the handcuffs.
- 10Once free, the police cop will attack.
- 11Press S (Backward Key) to reach the car.
- 12Pick up the shotgun to your left; Lee will reload but drop it.
- 13Pick up the shotgun shell to your right to reload the shotgun.
- 14Aim the shotgun at the Cop's head and shoot.
- 15After the cop is dead, a mysterious figure appears; call out to her, but she runs away.
- 16When the camera changes view, look to your right to trigger a scene.
- 17You will then be in someone's yard. Examine the Tea Set and the Treehouse.
- 18Walk up the stairs and go inside the house.
- 19Ignore the beeping and search everything.
- 20In the kitchen, search cabinets and drawers to find a WALKIE TALKIE.
- 21Go to the living room and search everything except the answering machine.
- 22Approach the answering machine and listen to all 3 messages to trigger a scene.
- 23You will be attacked by the babysitter.
- 24Quickly press the Q button (Left Key) repeatedly until it changes to E (Right Key).
- 25Press E to push her back.
- 26Lee will trip and fall; regain control and move the cursor until the Kick icon appears.
- 27Press the Kick icon to kick the zombie away.
- 28Continue kicking and punching (using Q, E, and the Kick icon) until Clementine reaches you with a hammer.
- 29Grab the hammer and aim it at the zombie's head.
- 30Hit the zombie until another scene is triggered.
- 31During the scene, choose between "Look for help, before it gets dark." or "Get out of here once the sun goes down.".
- 32If you choose to go out during the day, follow Clementine into the gate and open it to trigger a scene. Help push the car blocking the path. You will then be at Hershel's Farm.
- 33If you choose to wait until dark, follow Clementine into the gate, open it, and move forward to trigger a scene. You will then be at Hershel's Farm.
- 34The difference: choosing to go out during the day means Chet lives; waiting until dark means you meet Officer Andre as Chet becomes a zombie.
- 35Arrive at Hershel's Farm at night. Speak with everyone: Katjaa, Clementine, Kenny, Duck, Shawn, and Hershel.
- 36After speaking with Hershel, a scene triggers where you must choose between saving Shawn or saving Duck.
- 37To save Duck: punch the zombie, then pull Duck free with Kenny's help.
- 38To save Shawn: push the Tractor crushing his legs, then pull him out or punch zombies to free him.
- 39Shawn will die regardless, but Duck will live. If you try to save Shawn, Hershel will not yell at you; he will yell at Kenny for not helping.
- 40You will be kicked out of Hershel's Farm.
- 41During a long cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) inside the Drugs Store, you will be given choices.
- 42You will face a choice to "Side with Kenny or Side with Larry".
- 43Clementine will be attacked during a heated cutscene, and you need to save her.
- 44Point your cursor to Clementine to save her.
- Choices made during conversations have a lasting impact on how characters perceive you.
- When fighting the cop, ensure you reload the shotgun with a shell before attempting to shoot him.
- When fighting the babysitter, coordinate button presses (Q and E) and kicking/punching to effectively defend yourself.
- The decision to leave the house during the day or night primarily affects the fate of Chet and who you meet later.
- Regardless of who you attempt to save at Hershel's Farm, Shawn will die.

Q: What transfers on Episode 2?
A: I'm not sure since Episode 2 hasn't released yet. I think the decisions you made from Episode 1 will transfer. Like your decision between Carley and Doug, and your attitude towards your companions especially Kenny.
According to Giancarlo "GC_Boombox" Lodevico:
"For every response you pick for every character. Will be transferred to Episode 2. Because remember that one decision you have to make between Doug and Carley? That is a serious changer of the game. Meaning that whoever you save will appear on Episode 2. However, the other you didn't save will be mentioned in Episode 2. So to answer your question. Yes, Episode 1 will be transferred to Episode 2. Depending on your judgment to make your character to have the final decision to everybody's fate in the game. As long as you progress through the game."
