Help With Bastion Collectables

Learn the easiest way to find all Bastion Collectables in Anthem, including Histories and Runes, by using new pilots and specific Freeplay locations.

The Bastion Collectables are often the last achievement for Anthem players, requiring significant time investment. This guide offers a simpler method to acquire them, focusing on Histories and Runes.

The Exploit: Create new Pilot profiles (game saves). Your findings are pooled across all profiles, allowing you to re-collect items like Runes and Histories and have them count again towards your total.

Specific Collectable Tips:

• Sentinel and Arcanist Histories: These respawn randomly. Head west from Fort Tarsis to find a river leading to a tunnel under the Fort, which connects to one of the Tombs. Sentinel and Arcanist archives spawn in this cave. Entering and exiting the Tomb will cause them to respawn, though potentially in slightly different spots within the cave. Be thorough in your search.
• Note on Spawns: If Sentinel archives are appearing, only Sentinel archives will respawn. If Arcanist archives are appearing, only Arcanist archives will respawn. You may need to exit Freeplay and re-enter the area to get the other type to spawn.
• Dominion, Scar, and Outlaw Intel: You need to find a camp for each faction. These camps can sometimes de-spawn, so keep searching. Once a camp is found, collect the intel and fly away until your Javelin's thrusters are nearly depleted. Return to the camp; the intel will usually have respawned, sometimes in a new location.
• Location for Faction Intel: A good spot is Skystone at the East Gate. Spawn at the East Gate and fly North along the mountain for a short distance (about two full flight jumps). From there, continue North down into the Scar city. Look for their tents or pavilions, where the intel spawns.
