Chapter 3: The Town at Rock Bottom

After a series of cutscenes, you arrive in the new area, Isezaki Ijincho, Yokohama.

Meet Namba, a homeless man who saved you. He will task you with finding items by searching trash cans, introducing the "Search for Goods" action.

Your lost items are in a storage box, and money can be accessed from convenience store ATMs. Your new job title is "Deadbeat."

Access to the map is restricted, but you can play shogi. Follow objectives to search designated spots.

You will be introduced to the Can Quest (a type of minigame) where you use O to move forward and X to move back. Follow the yellow path on the minimap (a small map in the corner of your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)) to collect cans.

Boost items can be used to crash into other homeless individuals to steal their cans. Return to the pink flag marker to continue.

The first round of Can Quest requires you to collect 50 cans within an allotted time. Return to the starting point to pass.

Avoid red glow X drums and garbage trucks. Look for the Littering Girl (green star icon on the minimap) who dumps trash. You can only hold one boost item at a time.

Namba joins Ichiban in a fight against two mafia guys. Namba's Homeless job gives him healing/magic skills and restores MP.

After a scene discussing Yokohama's mafia dynamics, Namba officially joins your party.

A counterfeit bill is found, likely from the person who dumped you.

Head to Hello Work. You cannot find work without an address.

An elderly man offers a job at a Snack Bar for 5000 Yen.

It becomes night, and more of the map opens up, allowing access to some shops and entertainment areas. Substories (marked by white speech bubbles on the map) become available. You may encounter enemies up to Level 20; hold L1 to run away. A food lady north of the homeless area offers free recovery items.

Taxis are now accessible; interact with them to add them to the Taxi app on your smartphone.

Head to the objective marker. Hamako, the Snack Mama's friend, cut the electricity cable to prevent retaliation from Geomijul, who was stealing electricity from the people in Korean Town, territory of the Korean mafia. You must guard the place.

Fight Matsuo from Hello Work. You will earn 5000 Yen and the Silver Box Skeleton Key, which can open all silver safe boxes found in buildings or alleyways.

You receive the Story Clear 3 Trophy.
