Learn to master the Ryukyu Style in Yakuza Kiwami 3. This guide covers weapon usage, combos, Heat Actions, and strategies for Kiryu's unique fighting style.

The Ryukyu Style is a new fighting style for Kiryu in Yakuza Kiwami 3, focusing on the use of various weapons. To achieve full mastery, you must defeat a total of 600 enemies while using this style. This style allows Kiryu to wield multiple weapons simultaneously without them breaking, offering diverse combat options for different situations.

Unlike other styles, Kiryu cannot pick up weapons in Ryukyu Style, but he doesn't need to, as he can utilize over 6 different weapons at any time. While Kiryu cannot Quickstep in this style, he can perform a dodge roll. His guard is now a shield, protecting him from blades and gunfire. Mastering perfect guards allows for powerful counter-attacks, but the style is vulnerable to guard-breaking moves.

The variety of weapons in Ryukyu Style enables quick transitions between crowd control with far-reaching weapons and single-target combat with more powerful moves. For instance, the scythe can inflict bleeding, and the Tonfa can stun enemies. This style also features more moves that send enemies flying compared to the Dragon of Dojima style. Dragon Boost can also be used to slightly alter combos.
