Complete walkthrough for Chapter 2: The Frozen Tundra in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Includes objectives, collectibles, and strategies for defeating enemies like Leviathans and Hunters.
Walkthrough
- 1Follow the dirt path, defeat initial enemies near the bridge. A path to the right leads to dog tags.
- 2After defeating enemies, a Leviathan will appear. Dodge its attacks, jump on its back, and perform a kill move.
- 3More enemies (guards and Champions) will appear. Enter the temple and find dog tags behind a statue.
- 4Descend stairs to the left. Locate the mutagen (Unstoppable 1) and jump to it as the ground below will collapse. If you miss, use feral sense to find and pull a platform from the wall to climb up.
- 5Return to the platform and pull it back to reach the forward path. Descend stairs to a room with a wheel. Dog tags are in the distance.
- 6Approaching the wheel lowers a spiked ceiling and raises the exit door. Dash to the dog tags, grab them, then quickly dash back to the wheel and press the on-screen button rapidly. Dash through the exit door before it closes. This may take a few tries.
- 7After dialogue outside, face Machette Masters. They can replicate, so defeat them quickly using claw spin, counters, and environmental cues.
- 8Move to the gate on the left and grab the pedestal. This awakens the Hunter. Defeat the Hunter using counter-attacks followed by claw spin.
- 9Push the pedestal over the floor "button" to lower the gate.
- 10Cross the bridge and around the corner to find a +5 Health Boost. Use well-timed dashes to cross the spiked floor.
- 11Climb the rope and jump to the wooden platform below. Fall to the ground and move to the opposite end.
- 12Behind a pedestal are dog tags. Push the pedestal over the edge, then to the wall opposite the tags.
- 13Stand on the pedestal and destroy the boards on the large statue.
- 14Return to the original wooden platform and rotate the wheel. Platforms will move; jump across them. After the first two, a platform not held by a statue will appear. A small room on this platform contains a Health Boost.
- 15Across the bridge, use feral sense to navigate traps (red floor sections indicate spikes or smashing adamantium).
- 16At the end of the hall, face more Masters. Defeat them. A glowing rock pile turns into another Leviathan.
- 17A fire-wielding Champion will break down the exit. Defeat him.
- 18At the base of the bridge, defeat more Masters. The first objective is complete.
- 19Cross the bridge and climb the rope. Defeat enemies at the top (consider throwing them off the ledge).
- 20Go outside, climb the wall, and move left to the next platform. Jump to the next platform, then up to a rope.
- 21Jump to the next platform, cross beams. Enter a room with a Master. Lure enemies outside and throw them off the ledge. If they replicate, you can get the "Drop Dead" achievement/trophy.
- 22Defeat the Masters, then enter the room to fight a Hunter. Defeat him.
- 23Use the rope outside to ascend. Jump to the platform on the right, climb the wall moving left. Grab the ledge and shimmy left. Drop to the platform and enter to fight more Masters.
- 24Climb the inner wall to the top, move left for dog tags. Move right, cross beams.
- 25Climb one last wall to reach the top.
- 26Destroy the three panels on the Ion Emitter. Enemies will attack once you interact with the first panel. Defeat them by tossing them over the edge. Destroy the remaining panels to complete the mission.
