Lara's Moves

This guide details Lara Croft's core moveset in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. Mastering these techniques is crucial for both combat and environmental traversal.

Adrenaline Dodge: While locked onto an enemy (hold L1), if they become enraged and dash, press any direction + dodge (O) as they approach. This triggers slow-motion dodging. While aiming mid-air, wait for the crosshairs to turn red, then press R1 to fire for a one-hit kill on normal enemies. This move is also vital for stunning bosses.

Wall Run: Jump and grapple to gold rings on walls to initiate a wall run. Use the left analog stick to steer left or right, and press X to jump. Stop or reverse direction to halt. Hold / hen up or down to climb the grapple. Press X while stationary on a wall to jump backward.

Special Wall Jump: To leap to a platform across from a wall Lara is running on, press toward the platform and jump (X) just as she begins to turn on the wall. This precise maneuver allows Lara to kick off the wall and jump to the target area.

Somersault: Press X twice in succession for Lara to perform a somersault jump.

Crouching/Dodging: Hold O to crouch and move under obstacles. Press O while holding a direction for a quick dodge. Press O about a second after rolling to spring upward feet first.

Flips and Spinning Jump: Hold forward on the left analog and tap O for a series of forward flips ending in a spinning somersault. Tap X during the flips for different aerial maneuvers and a higher jump.

Walking: Hold R2 while moving to make Lara walk, useful for precision and navigating dangerous areas.

Dive: Quickly tap X then O to perform a dive. This is particularly useful for entering water, allowing Lara to stay submerged longer.

Special Pull-up: While hanging from a ledge, hold X to make Lara swing her legs up and pull herself onto the platform.
