    First things first, you need to report Astrid's death. Find any guard and tell them you've slain the leader of the Dark Brotherhood. They'll point you towards Dragon Bridge.

    Head to the Penitus Oculatus Outpost in Dragon Bridge and speak with Commander Maro. He'll give you the passphrase to enter the Sanctuary and then task you with eliminating everyone inside.

    Make your way to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, located south of Falkreath. When you arrive, use the password "Silence, my Brother" to get in.

    Inside, you'll immediately run into Arnbjorn, who wields a two-handed axe. After you deal with him, check his room for the Stone of Barenziah.

    Next up is Veezara, a dual-wielding assassin. She shouldn't give you too much trouble. Before moving on, take a moment to grab any equipment or the rare book Sithis you might find.

    Head downstairs and to the east to find Festus Krex, a mage. Close the distance and take him out.

    Continue north to find Nazir, a Redguard. Open the nearby Chest before heading west to confront Gabriella, a Conjurer who uses a bow.

    Once all members are slain, search the main area for a Word Wall to learn the Word of Power: Kill, Marked for Death.

    Finally, return to Commander Maro. He'll reward you with 3,000 gold for your efforts.
Tips
  • This quest is entirely optional. If you choose this path, it's the last Dark Brotherhood quest you'll ever do.
  • Remember to loot the Abandoned Shack Key and the Blade of Woe from Astrid before reporting her death.
  • The Sanctuary is filled with valuable equipment and items, so take your time to explore and loot everything you can.
