This section of the guide provides various codes and tips for Tetris Attack (Super Nintendo Entertainment System), which may be relevant to understanding mechanics or secrets in Tetris 99.
Challenge Mode: To play Challenge Mode in 1p VS. Mode, go to 1p VS. Mode, select new game, put the cursor on Hard mode, and hold Up + L while pressing A. The screen will turn red if successful.
Change Characters in One-Player Vs. Mode: Begin a 1-player game in Vs mode. After winning a match, press and hold the X and Y buttons. You can then play as any character you have defeated.
Harder Game: In the beginning of the game, when Yoshi appears and says "Nintendo!", press B, A, L, L. If you hear a sound, the code was entered correctly. With this code, combos or chains will cause panels to continue rising without stopping.
Hardest Bowser Level: To access the hardest VS. mode level, type in the code: S6?L7B7!.
