Head right, being careful of Sad Spinies. When you reach the balloon, keep jumping on it to reach the upper area. Hit the switch. Descend as you see fit and continue. Jump up to the next area, ducking under flames if they appear. Move to the pipe. Ensure your Vibe Gauge and HP are full before entering. In the next area, keep moving. Watch the upper pipes. Count the first five, then jump up the middle pipe. Jump up the next pipe, fall onto Puzzle H Piece 20, and then drop down the pipe. Run and float to the end. Use Slidebrella. Head right and use Rage to bring down the stone. Collect Puzzle H Piece 21 and go up to the end.
- In level 4-8, if you are taking fog damage, it's recommended to use your Vibe Gauge to clear the fog, as being knocked back could send you into lava.
- Wiggler in this area recovers much faster than in previous encounters, so be quick with your attacks.
- Wiggler's smoke regenerates faster than before, so be prepared for a more challenging fight.

- 1Level 5-7: Head right to the end. Banzai Bills are slow-moving but large enemies that can be scooped and eaten. Use Subrella. Stand under the wall between the sand and trampoline. Use Poundbrella to shake the trampoline down. Scoop it and drop it to the right. Spring up and continue. When you reach the coin arrow, use Joy to follow it up to a platform. Run to the end and Poundbrella through the blocks to find Puzzle H Piece 22. Be careful of Ptooies below when you drop down. The end of the level is ahead.
- 2Level 5-8: The third Chargebrella usage is optional. Follow the path to the end, watching for swinging spiked balls. Use Sad Paragoombas to reach the main area and follow it to the end. Head right, watching out for Glad Fangs. Use Joy when you find the coin arrow. When you reach the top, go left and hit the switch. Go right a little, scoop the Hammer Bro, and toss him into the switch above you. Continue right. You can either jump into the spikes and strike the switch yourself before landing, or fire a Chargebrella shot at it. With all three switches pressed, the waterfalls will stop, allowing you to progress. Drop back down and go right. Use Joy to reach the platform above the two small platforms, where Puzzle H Piece 23 awaits. The end of the level is just past that.
- 3Level 5-9: This section scrolls right very slowly. Nothing of interest is here; move to the end. Head right to the end of this area. Scoop the Koopa and toss him up into the switch. The platforms will vanish, leaving gaps. Stand near the hovering Puzzle H Piece 24 and use Joy. Drop down to claim it, then float to safety. The end.
- In Level 5-7, remember you can scoop and eat Banzai Bills.
- In Level 5-8, be cautious of swinging spiked balls and Glad Fangs.
- In Level 5-9, the scrolling is slow and the level is easy.
