Walkthrough

    After creating your skater, you'll go through tutorials for ollies and pushing.

    Start the first challenge, Tutorial - Nollies, located in the top left corner of your map.

    Stay within 150 ft, Nollie (push up, then down on the right stick) in all green gates, and reach the lot.

    Pass through the red gate to complete the challenge.

    Head to the red icon on your map to play S.K.A.T.E. with Shingo.

    Nail Shingo's tricks, then set your own. Try an ollie 360 or kickflip 360 to win.

    New challenges available: Follow Me - Follow Shingo, Tutorial - Manuals.

    Go to the blue icon on your map for Tutorial - Manuals.

    To perform a Manual, fliptrick, then gently push down on the right analog stick. Keep holding it down until prompted, then fliptrick out of the manual.

    Head to the red icon for Follow Me - Follow Shingo.

    Stay within 180 ft and get to the school. Take it slow to avoid obstacles.

    Enter the blue gate to complete the challenge.

    New challenge available: Photo - My First Photo!!.

    Go to the challenge next to you, Photo - My First Photo!!.

    Hit up the stairs, get 100 points, and do a Grind. Ollie onto a rail, grind it, and worry about the rail as 100 points is almost impossible to miss.

    If you mess up, hold LB and hit up on the D-Pad to respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) at the top.

    New challenges available: Film - Filming 101, Tutorial - Scoring a Line, Tutorial - Advanced Grinds.

    Find a spot with a rail for your first Film Challenge, Film - Filming 101. Hit RB when in position, then Y to begin.

    Get 500 points and do 2 Grinds. Grind ledges and rails. If you don't have 500 points, do an ollie 180, kickflips, or grind more.

    New challenge available: Best Trick - Community Spirit!.

    Use your map and quick navigate (select an icon and hit A) to the bottom rightmost blue icon for Tutorial - Advanced Grinds.

    To perform an Advanced Grind, flip into a grind (do a simple fliptrick and land on a bench), do a long grind, and flip out of the grind (do a fliptrick off the rail).

    Go to the next blue icon for Tutorial - Scoring a Line.

    Get a x1.5 multiplier to start a line (do an ollie 360, a grind, or a fliptrick) and get 800 points in a line (fliptrick into and out of a grind, or do random fliptricks).

    Go to the red icon for Best Trick - Community Spirit!.

    Round 1: Get 250+ points. Try a triple heelflip 360, grab 360, or a 540. For a double heelflip, hold the stick up after one heelflip and release the right stick to complete the flip.

    Round 2: Get 250+ points. Get speed, grind the pad, flip out, grind again or land in a manual for 400+ points.

    Round 3: Flip onto the middle rail, grind, and flip out with a spin.

    Go to the blue icon for Tutorial - Pumping.

    Hit X or A to drop into the half-pipe (do not hit them again). Push up on the left stick 4 times to pump, then get air. In the air, hold LT or RT and hit B for a second to do a Christ/No Foot Air.

    Head to the red icon, the Regs shop, to buy new items, get a sponsor, or trigger events. You'll get a cutscene (a scene) when you arrive.
Tips
  • To Nollie, push up, then down on the right stick.
  • To perform a Manual, fliptrick, then gently push down on the right analog stick.
  • To respawn at the top of a challenge if you mess up, hold LB and hit up on the D-Pad.
  • To quick navigate on the map, select an icon and hit A.
  • To perform a double heelflip, hold the right stick up after one heelflip and release it to complete the flip.
  • In the half-pipe, push up on the left stick when approaching the incline 4 times to pump.
  • In the air for a Christ/No Foot Air, hold LT or RT and hit B for a second.
