Guide to finding Light Seeds in Prince of Persia (2008), including the Construction Yard puzzle and The Alchemist boss fight.
- 1Teleport to The Cavern of the Royal Palace. Climb to the main platform leading to the Royal Gardens and activate the Yellow Power Plate.
- 2Fly upside down, avoiding stalactites, and collect seeds by making slight adjustments left, right, and left again. Collect one more seed as you straighten your path, and a final one ahead.
- 3Return to the platform next to the Power Plate and enter the cavern to the Royal Gardens. Cross columns to climb rings to a platform.
- 4Hang down the far edge of this tall platform and slide down the left side to locate two missed seeds.
- 5Teleport to the City of Light. Take the blue plate and head towards the platform where the Black Gate used to be.
- 6Go to the other end and enter the Wall Running corridor. Continue past the Yellow Power Plate until you can turn around after the sliding platforms.
- 7Return to the flagpole, swing to the beam, and climb up to the Power Plate. Ride through to collect five new seeds.
- 8Teleport to the Tower of Ormazd. Activate the Yellow Plate behind you.
- 9As you fly up, collect three new seeds, including one near a platform amongst leaves.
- 10Fly into the tower from another direction, steer into the opening, and collect the next seed.
- 11Teleport to the Machinery Ground. From the Fertile Ground, use the nearby Red Power Plate.
- 12Follow Elika's compass to the left path, crossing flagpoles, beams, and walls to an enemy platform. Defeat enemies before they spawn.
- 13Watch Corruption spots and wall run between platforms to flagpoles. Swing across to the next platform, watch the Corruption well, climb vines, and go over to reach the main area.
- 14Go around the corner, wall run to the Green Power Plate, and use the plates to reach the other side.
- 15Climb the wall on your left with rings, hoist yourself onto the beam, and jump to the small square platform with a crank.
- 16Puzzle Solution: Rotate the nearby crank once counterclockwise. Double jump to the top left platform and turn its crank once counterclockwise. Double jump to the top right platform and turn its crank so the platform with the longest beam is in the top right and your platform is in the top left. Jump to the bottom left platform and turn its crank counterclockwise once. Jump to the bottom right platform and turn its crank clockwise once. Jump to the top right platform and turn its crank twice in any direction so the long beam faces toward the Fertile Ground.
- 17Jump to the Fertile Ground.
- 18Activate the Yellow Power Plate. Fly and veer left for the first seed, then quickly veer right, then left again for two more.
- 19Fly between columns, grab the seed on the left, then steer between the two walls.
Boss Fight - The Alchemist (Part III):
The Alchemist fight takes place on a platform without Corruption. You can push him to the edge to ring him out for an easy victory, or engage in combos.
The Alchemist uses Attack and Grip Shields. He deflects attacks less than previous bosses, making it a good opportunity for the 14-Hit Combo Trophy.
He uses Corruption to attack, making him easier to deflect. His new moves include:
- Stretching his arms and robe like wings and hovering towards you, with bands of Corruption lunging at the Prince. Mash Square to swat them away.
- Lifting the Prince into the air. Hit the random button prompt to break free.
This fight is not too difficult, and his reduced deflection allows for extensive combo use.
After the fight, you should have all Light Seeds in the healed areas. Teleport to the Construction Yard, reachable from Machinery Ground or The Cauldron.
- When collecting seeds after activating the Yellow Power Plate in The Cavern of the Royal Palace, make very slight movements to collect them efficiently.
- In the City of Light, remember to return to the Power Plate after passing it to collect the seeds.
- The puzzle in the Construction Yard requires precise crank rotations and platform jumps.
- The Alchemist boss fight offers an opportunity to achieve the 14-Hit Combo Trophy due to his reduced deflection.
