Navigate the Celadon Gym maze and defeat Erika in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Learn trainer details, Erika's Pokemon, and effective strategies.
The Celadon Game Corner has been redesigned to resemble the Goldenrod Game Corner, though it lacks the attendants and the NPC overseeing the Celadon Gym.
At the Prize Building, you can obtain rare Pokemon like Eevee and Porygon. A helpful NPC will also inform you about your Pokemon's Hidden Power type.
Before heading to the Celadon Gym, ensure you have a Pokemon capable of using Cut, as it is required to access the gym.

Boss: Erika
- Jumpluff lv 51 (Grass/Flying)
- Tangela lv 52 (Grass)
- Victreebel lv 56 (Grass/Poison)
- Bellossom lv 56 (Grass)
Erika's team is stronger than in previous games, with Pokemon averaging 10 levels higher. Several of her Pokemon have dual typings, such as Jumpluff (Flying) and Victreebel (Poison). Effective types against her team include Ice, Fire, Flying, and Psychic (especially for Victreebel).
Jumpluff: Knows Leech Seed, U-Turn, Giga Drain, and Sunny Day. Giga Drain heals Jumpluff based on damage dealt. U-Turn allows it to attack and switch out. Leech Seed drains your HP over time. Sunny Day boosts Fire attacks and enables Solar Beam. Jumpluff is highly weak to Ice attacks.
Tangela: Knows Ancientpower, Wring Out, Giga Drain, and Sleep Powder. Ancientpower has a chance to boost stats. Wring Out's damage is based on the user's current HP. Sleep Powder induces sleep.
Victreebel: Knows Sunny Day, Grass Knot, Leaf Storm, and Razor Leaf. Grass Knot's damage scales with the opponent's weight. Leaf Storm is a powerful Grass attack that lowers the user's Special Attack. Razor Leaf is an average-damage Grass attack with a higher critical hit ratio. Victreebel is weak to Psychic moves.
