Part 6

Mutant Bats: These enemies swarm and deal rapid damage. Activate the Wind Blades Ninpo (a special magical attack) or use combos.

Lycanthrope Werewolves: Similar to Van Gelf enemies but use dead bodies as projectiles. Counter their pouncing attacks to sever limbs or use ON-LAND CHARGES (a charged attack) to weaken and defeat them.

Silver Gaja & Red Gaja: These gorgon-type snakes are more dangerous on water. Lure them to dry land and use an Izuna Drop (an aerial combo finisher) to defeat them.

Land Mines: Appear only in Chapter 8. Avoid them by following the footprints shown on the snow.

Exploding Jellyfish: Difficult to see and explode when near them in water. Destroy them with the Gatling Gun.

Blood Fish: Appear in Chapters 9 and 14. Kill them using the Gatling Gun while underwater.

Ghost Fish: Appear in Chapter 5 (and parts of Chapters 6 & 12). Use the Kusari-gama or Vigoorian Flails to eliminate groups, or the Gatling Gun when underwater.

Water Sentry: Appear only in Chapter 9. Use the Water Run ability to approach them, then use a combo with the Scythe (level 3) for an instant kill.

Spriggan (Chainsaw Zombie): Evade their chainsaw and cannonballs, then use an Ultimate (a powerful finishing move) to sever a limb. Obliterate (finish off) the zombie and repeat the strategy using ON-LAND CHARGES with leftover Essence (dropped by enemies).

Executors & Mecha-Fiends: These half-robot enemies fire many bullets, and larger ones use knife attacks. The Eclipse Scythe is effective; use mid-air Scythe combos to weaken them for Obliteration. Wind Blades Ninpo can also finish them.

Acid Worms: Appear only in Chapter 10. They emerge from acid lava. Use Incendiary Shurikens charged to level 2, as fighting them up close is dangerous.

Skull Spiders & Large Dung Beetles: Use any weapon (preferably the Scythe or Kusari-gama) to slice them, then use leftover Essence for Ultimates.

Marionette Spiders: Appear in Chapters 13 & 14. Use hard combos to weaken them (they explode but keep moving) for Obliteration. Alternatively, use Wind Blades Ninpo on a group to weaken them all for easy Obliteration.

Pokemon Dragon Boi: Appears only in Chapter 12. Use On-Land Charge UT to weaken them, then follow up with hard combos.

Centaurs: Similar to Samurai Horsemen. Stay immobile near a wall, block their attack, and strike as they turn around.

Zombified Enemies: In Chapters 12-13, Black Spider Ninjas, Incendiary Dogs, Rasetsu, and Van Gelf appear zombified but are defeated the same way as their normal counterparts.

Test of Valor: From Chapter 3 to Chapter 11, glowing portals lead to battle arenas with over 100 enemies. Defeating all enemies typically rewards a health enhancement item like a LIVES OF THE THOUSAND GODS or TALISMAN OF REBIRTH.
