Part 24

Complete Part 24 of the Ninja Gaiden II walkthrough, guiding you through the battles against Genshin and the Armadillo, and navigating the Lower Right Wing.

AREA: ROOM D2-1

OBJECTIVE: Just as the elevator descends to the bottom, a small gang of small mechs will appear. Mid-air Scythe combos are your friend! Clear them out and then open the door to...

AREA: LOWER LEFT WING

As soon as you open the door, a bunch of turrets will start shooting at you for a few seconds. Bust out the bow and shoot charged arrows at them to destroy them. From there, climb the ladder down to the wing and traverse to the other side. Climb the adjacent ladder and enter the next room to find a Save Statue.

AREA: ROOM D2-11

OBJECTIVE: BLOW UP THE REACTOR

As you enter the next room, a bunch of rocket boys and soldiers will occupy the narrow hall. Approach the rocket guys first and take them out. Use Ultimates on the other soldiers to take them down and then enter the next room.

AREA: ROOM D2-12

This is the exact same room where you destroyed the yellow tubes. Quickly eliminate the soldiers in here and then exit using the skywalk to trigger a cutscene.

AREA: ROOM D2-6 STEAM PIPE ROOM

When you enter the next room, rockets will come flying in your face, so eliminate all the rocket boys and soldiers! Exit the room to trigger another cutscene. After the cutscene, take skywalk to the next room.

AREA: ROOM D2-14 & ROOM D2-13

This room is very similar to Room D2-12 (with the reactor). Clear out all the soldiers in D2-14 and D2-13. From there, enter the next room to find Muramasa's Statue. Stock up on stuff and then open the next doorway to...

AREA: LOWER RIGHT WING

Destroy the turrets with charged arrows and then jump down and traverse the wobbly wing to the other side. Climb the ladder to the Save Statue.

Be prepared because you will have to complete TWO separate boss battles, so be sure to be stocked and ready! If you're primed and pumped, enter the doorway to encounter Genshin.

BOSS BATTLE: GENSHIN - PART TWO

Genshin is still the same bitch from Chapter 2, so this battle shouldn't be too difficult for you. The only thing different here is that Genshin will employ the use of Red Spider Ninjas (the Incendiary Shuriken ones).

When the battle begins, stay away from Genshin and focus on eliminating the ninjas around you one-by-one. Use lots of On-Land Charge attacks to kill one or two of them and then use the leftover Essence for Ultimates for the rest of them. It'll take some fast evasion to get them all, but after you kill all ten ninjas, the battle will just be between Genshin and Ryu. From there, fight off Genshin the same you did from Chapter 2.

After the Genshin battle, Ryu will face off against the Armadillo on a large snowy plain, so be ready!

BOSS BATTLE: THE TEXAS ARMADILLO

The giant Armadillo has three attacks:

• FLAME BREATH
• CHOMP CHOMP BLOW
• BOWLING BALL STRIKE

To avoid having the Armadillo roll around, run up to the boss and attack him from up close. Stand next to his face (not in front of it) and start smacking combos for faster results. As it starts walking around the arena, keep attacking its face or feet with non-stop combos while following him. It's really that simple as it sounds, folks.

When his health is reduced to 10%, he'll fall over and open himself to Obliteration. Immediately after Obliterating, press and hold the BLOCK BUTTON or you'll get a nasty surprise that I'm sure you won't like!

MISSION COMPLETE!

CHAPTER 8: SUBMIT, OR DIE!

AREA: RED SQUARE - ALLEYWAY

OBJECTIVE: CLEAR RED SQUARE CAPITAL OF THREATS

When the mission begins, approach the Muramasa Statue and stock up on Incendiary Shurikens. TRUST ME, they will definitely come in handy in the next section! From there, continue forward to see numerous sandbag posts. As you approach it, a couple of soldiers wielding ballistic missiles will come running and shooting at you.
