Walkthrough

When connecting online, choose the regional server closest to your physical location. If you are on the East Coast, select the Eastern Server.

On the next screen, you will see a list of major cities within your chosen region.

Select the city server that is geographically closest to you.

Crucially, ensure the chosen city server has other players connected to it. Some city servers may be empty.

If your preferred city server is not populated, move to the next closest city server that has active players.

Tips

If you have a Broadband Adapter, the distance to the server matters less.
For those using a 56k modem, picking the closest server is highly recommended for a better experience.
Always verify that a city server has players before committing to it.
