The Pick & Roll is a fundamental offensive play in basketball that can be highly effective in NBA 2K24. By using a teammate to set a screen for your ball-handler, you can create space, draw defensive attention, and open up scoring opportunities for either the ball-handler or the screener. Mastering this play is key to breaking down defenses and running an efficient offense.

How to Execute the Pick & Roll:

1. Initiate the Play: Hold down the 'Pick & Roll' button (typically L1/LB or the left bumper) while dribbling the ball.
2. Select Your Screener: A teammate will appear on your HUD. Use the right analog stick to select which teammate you want to set the screen.
3. Choose the Screen Direction: Flick the right analog stick left or right to dictate the direction the screen will be set.
4. React to the Defense: Once the screen is set, the defense will react. You have several options:
• Drive to the Basket: If the defender guarding you goes over the screen, attack the basket.
• Shoot a Jumper: If the defender gets caught on the screen, you'll have an open look for a jump shot.
• Pass to the Screener: If the defense collapses on you, pass to the screener rolling to the basket.
• Pass to an Open Teammate: If the defense over-rotates, look for another open player on the perimeter.
