Race the World Champion in Midnight Club: Street Racing. Learn strategies and tips to unlock the Zender Alpha and Zender Type-S.
Walkthrough
- 1Start the race and take off down the alley.
- 2Nitro once at 30 MPH and again at 60 MPH.
- 3On the first left angled turn, attempt to make the World Champion crash into oncoming traffic.
- 4If the Champion crashes, you may win. If not, continue driving and hope for the best.
- 5Practice is key; it may take an hour to beat the Champion.
Tips
- The Bus can be used to win by moving it to intercept other cars as they try to finish. A head-on collision with the bus will damage out each of the other racers.
- On the second left turn, try to sideswipe the World Champion to knock them into the alley, causing them to lose time getting back on course. Watch out for traffic near the river.
- Stay close to the Champion at the beginning and keep hitting their car. Their car has a low tolerance and may damage out after a few hits. Do not let them get too far ahead.
- Knock the Champion far into the alley at the start so that when you reach the arches, you are tied, then knock them into the trees or the side of the arch to make them lose time.
- Line your car up with the rear of the World Champion's car at the start. At the first turn, they slow down significantly; plow into their car to knock them into the alley. This may also slow you down, allowing you to make the turn.
- Instead of following the Champion, take a left at the start and follow the other racer. Use the third of Emily's cars or the Fiorenza 2 (unlocked after beating Darren, playable in Arcade Mode Waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) 15 in NY). When on the border of the river, if the Champion crashes, they may go into the river or spin out.
- The Modicum or the full version of the Modicum is recommended. Use a nitro at the turn of the light and another a few seconds later. Power slide into the Champion as they slow down for the turn. Downshift if using a manual transmission to accelerate away.
- The Modicum XSV.25 is highly recommended. Use a nitro at the start and another a few seconds later to reach 120 MPH. The XSV.25 can slip through races easily.
- The first alley and contact are your friends.
- The minimap (a small radar (your minimap with nearby blips and threats marked) on the HUD (Heads-Up Display)) can help you track opponents.
