Walkthrough

You'll start by waiting for your allies to deal with the first wave of around 20-25 regular soldiers. Just hang back and let them do the work.

After your crew has taken down a good chunk of the enemy, a smoke screen will appear.

Once the smoke clears, it's your turn to engage. You'll face a flamethrower enemy protected by a shield wall, carried by eight regular soldiers advancing towards you.

To break through the shield wall, aim for the rectangular holes near the top of the shields and shoot the soldiers carrying them.

Taking out a shield bearer will momentarily create an opening. Use this chance to either shoot the flamethrower enemy directly or pick off other shield bearers before they can reform their wall and push forward again.

Once the shield wall is down and the flamethrower enemy is eliminated, a cutscene will play, marking the end of the mission and the game.

Tips

During the final defense sequence, make sure to grab the Diary Note located to your left before you fully commit to taking down the shield wall.
The mini-gun you'll find propped against the barricade is a pneumatic weapon. Remember to use your recharger to pump it up again when its pressure runs out.
