Cassette Tape Locations: Cassette Tapes 2

Find all 12 cassette tapes in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, including Chico's Tape 5 and Agent's Recording, to unlock the 'Information' trophy.

There are a total of 12 cassette tapes hidden throughout Camp Omega. You can acquire them by picking them up in the environment, completing specific mission requirements, and finishing levels on various difficulties. They can be listened to at any time by opening your iDroid device and selecting them through the Cassette menu. Unlike the XOF Patches, the cassette tapes are found not only in the Ground Zeroes main mission but also in the majority of the optional Extra/Side-ops.

Ground Zeroes Mission:

1. Chico’s Tape 5 – Located in the admin building area, on top of a dumpster in an alley behind and to the left of the stairs leading down to the boiler room. You must grab this before meeting Chico in the prison area, or it will disappear.
2. Chico’s Tape 2 – Located in the large guard tower accessible via the admin building area.
3. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes – In the prison area, look in the cell directly behind Chico’s; it is on the ground.
4. Chico’s Tape 3 – Received during a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) after rescuing Chico.
5. Chico’s Tape 4 – Earned upon completion of the mission after finding, rescuing, and extracting the prisoner intended for execution from the execution ground.

Side-Ops: Eliminate the Renegade Threat:

1. Chico’s Tape 6 – Found behind a shelf in the armoury located by the watchtower to the east of the execution ground, near where the first target, Palitz, can be found.

Side-Ops: Intel Operative Rescue:

1. Chico’s Tape 1 – Earned upon completion of the mission.

Side-Ops: Classified Intel Acquisition:

1. Agent’s Recording – This cassette is the side-ops mission objective and must be picked up to complete the mission. It is located in the large guard tower accessible via the admin building area.
2. Classified Intel Data – Retrieve the Agent’s Recording tape from the large guard tower. Interrogate your contact, who will point you towards another soldier (bald, not wearing a hat) who can be interrogated to receive the tape. You can ignore the main objective and sneak into the boiler room of the admin building to find him if you have remained undetected. If there is an alert, track him down in the field and interrogate him until he gives up the tape.

Side-Ops: Destroy the Anti-Air Emplacements:

1. Chico’s Tape 7 – During the mission, enter the admin building and find the prisoner located where Paz is found during the Ground Zeroes mission. Extracting this prisoner earns you this tape upon mission completion.

Extra-Ops: Déjà vu / Jamais Vu:

1. Déjà Vu Deja / Jamais Vu Tape – Found on the rock closest to the small sheltered cave by the extraction point where Chico was extracted in the Ground Zeroes mission. Using night vision will help locate it.

Miscellaneous:

1. Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner Tape – Reward upon completing all missions on the Hard difficulty.
