Boss: Commander Shroob
- HP: 1300
Phases:
- Phase 1: Shroob Squad
- Commander Shroob stays in the back and sends out Shroob squads.
- Shroobs come out in threes, carrying a large Shroob-omb.
- They may toss the Shroob-omb at you. They wink before throwing; left eye wink for Luigi, right eye for Mario.
- Hammer the Shroob-omb back at them to defeat it.
- Defeat the middle and back Shroobs (each 88 HP). Ignore the front-line Shroob.
- If the middle and back Shroobs are defeated, the Shroob-omb rolls off the field and explodes, forcing Commander Shroob onto the field.
- If the front-line Shroob is defeated, the Shroob-omb will roll onto the bros and explode.
- Phase 2: Commander Shroob Engaged
- When Commander Shroob is forced into battle, he will send his army at the bros.
- If his arms are behind him, he sends a Shroob at Mario. If his arms are in front, he sends a Shroob at Luigi.
- He will either smack Shroobs towards the bros or fling them in the air. Be ready with hammers.
- Watch for multiple Shroobs attacking simultaneously.
- Commander Shroob also fires laser beams like a normal Shroob.
- Commander Shroob himself is cowardly and doesn't do much damage directly.
- Use normal attacks on Commander Shroob.
- Red Shells (Bros. Item) can deal significant damage.
- After several turns, he will retreat and send another Shroob squad. Repeat the strategy.
