Chapter 5: Decoherence

In the Scene Reloaded, you awaken to a storm and must follow the path to find Safi. After talking to her, you both enter the time vortex.

In the Scene There No I in Storm, you are back in the Caledon quad. You receive a text from your parents but cannot respond. Head to the statue where Diamond is waiting. Talk to her and enter the Fab Building.

In the Scene under observation, you arrive at the observatory. Moses is at the telescope. You can check texts from Warren and the Cat (if you have the Cat content DLC (downloadable content — extra missions or items released after launch)). Explore the area; a polaroid is on the railing near Safi's candy. Talk to Moses, who acts strangely. You must take a photo of him and use your double exposure ability on it.

In the Scene quit Stalling, you find yourself in a familiar location from the first season. After a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) where you and Safi reenact lines from Nathan and Chloe, explore the area. Collect a polaroid near the maintenance cart and fire alarm. You can also critique graffiti in the bathroom and kick stall doors to find the source of noise.

In the Scene uncanny Alley, you are in the bowling alley from the beginning of the game. Examine the tree and a banner for clues. In the Hall, examine the plushies on the cart three times for Safi's commentary. Return to the room you came from and use your double exposure ability. You will see items belonging to Jefferson Bunker. Examine the chair again, then press L1 and R1 to escape. Examine all items and listen to Lucas's dialogue, which mirrors Jefferson's. Go down the ladder and use your double exposure ability.

Lucas is by the tree, and Loretta is behind him. Talk to Lucas, who speaks like Safi. Take a snapshot of him and use double exposure. You can talk to Loretta in the back. Head to Reggie and Vinh; a bench near the claw machine offers a moment of calm. Exit through the doors.

In the Scene Razing the Bar, you are at the Snapping Turtle. Amanda is confused by the storm, and Gwen is on the patio. You receive a text from Chloe. You need to use your double exposure ability to enter the patio. Before going outside, go to the stage and find the final polaroid of the game on a nearby table. Go to the patio door and open it.

You are now in a motel room. Explore it and everything within. Leave through the door to find another motel room; explore if you wish. You will eventually reach a moment of calm on a bed. After listening to the song and Max's dialogue, find a way to escape the room. Go to the motel door, examine it, and push it open to return to the Turtle. Use the patio doors to talk to Gwen and take a snapshot of her. You will leave the bar to find Safi.

In the Scene She’s Got her Mother’s Eyes, you reunite with Safi. As the scene changes, answer however you wish. You will end up in the combined timeline where both timelines have merged. Safi will enter her Yandere mode, transforming into Max's love interests or Max herself. She will ask you to join her quest to find people with powers and potentially establish a villain arc for her. You can accept or reject her offer. If you reject her, she transforms into Max and leaves.

In the Scene Back Together Again, you are back in the Quad after the events. You will meet Loretta and Reggie (if you kissed Vinh) or just Loretta (if you didn't kiss Vinh or used her podcast to return the Cat). You can take a snapshot of Reggie, Loretta (with or without the cat). After talking to them, explore the quad and listen to conversations. You can have a moment of calm on the special bench where you talked to Moses in Chapter 1. Talk to Lucas near the Statue and take a snapshot of the Caledon Founder Statue. As you head to the Turtle, you will get a call from Yasmin, who reveals her university status after her gunshot wound. Head to the Turtle to start the Epilogue.

As you enter the Turtle, you will see Moses, Gwen (depending on your choices regarding the flash drive and convincing her to fight the board in Chapter 3), Vinh, Amanda, Diamond, and Reggie (depending on whether you kissed Vinh). Talk to Moses and take a snapshot of him. Talk to Amanda, who comments on your powers and the situation, then take her snapshot. Talk to Diamond behind you and take her photo by the bar. Talk to Vinh by the staff recommendation board (alone or with Reggie if they became a couple) and take a photo of just him or him and Reggie. If Gwen is at the bar, talk to her by the patio and take her snapshot; she will reveal her decision about the board. If she is not at the bar, you will receive a text that she left Caledon. This should be the final snapshot of the game, though another playthrough is needed for certain trophies due to determinant snapshots of Vinh, Reggie, Loretta, and Gwen.
