Start by swimming down, hitting a switch to terraform the area, and entering the door.

Break through bomb blocks and navigate a passage that turns downward. Go up through bomb blocks and enter the next door.

Hit the switch, then pull the lever once the bridge closes. Jump over the switch, grab the key, use it to obtain an [Energy Sphere], and exit.

Continue down the path to the door at the bottom and enter it.

Keep hitting switches to open paths. Grab the Water ability if desired.

Enter the door leading to a lollipop. Grab it, swim around the rock formation, and enter the door concealed by seaweed. Blast your way to an [Energy Sphere] and exit.

Continue on, jumping out of the water for items and stars if desired. Proceed to the door at the end and enter it.

Move along the path, avoiding the spiky shell, and grab the Spear ability.

Hit the pink switch, then the blue one. Outswim the giant shell and keep going.

Reach the next pink switch, repeat the process, and duck into the alcove to let the shell pass over you. This clears the path to your third [Energy Sphere]. Proceed upward to the door and enter it.

Go down the left side. Continue down to a rotating sphere with stars and a skull.

Run and cling to walls to save time. Throw the bomb at blocks to reveal a 1-up, but avoid the explosion. The bomb explodes when flashing and stops ticking when put down.

Find another bomb and repeat the process, hitting switches to extend bridges. Cling to the insides to slip through cracks.

Throw the bomb at the gold blocks at the end to reveal your fourth [Energy Sphere]. If a Waddle Dee is present, put the bomb down to deal with it first.

Return to the platform before the gold blocks, slide down the ladder underneath, and go through the door at the bottom.

Prepare for Eel City. Time your movements to get by the eels.

When you see a place to pop out of the water, do so. Grab the Spear ability if you don't have it.

After passing through bomb blocks, head to the top of the new chamber. Use your spear to hit the bomb block above the upward-facing eel to get the last [Energy Sphere].

Continue right, through bomb blocks, and take the exit.
