Walkthrough for Stage 1-3 in Kirby: Planet Robobot. Find all 3 Code Cubes, 4 Stickers (including a Rare Sticker), and learn how to defeat the mini-boss Gigavolt.
Walkthrough
- 1Head right and enter the train. Pick up a battery and insert it into a buzzsaw to clear a path.
- 2Use a 3D Warpstar to go to the background and find a Pillah enemy to get the Doctor copy ability.
- 3To the right, find Sticker #1 hidden in a star block. Continue right, using 3D Warpstars.
- 4Grab another battery in the background and take it right, past another battery, to insert it into a buzzsaw.
- 5Pick up the battery you passed and insert it into the machine past the buzzsaw to swap a Gordo enemy with Code Cube #1 in the background.
- 6Head right and encounter a Clown Acrobat enemy. Break the block to its left to reveal a pipe leading to a secondary exit.
- 7Grab another battery and jump on the 3D Warpstar. Take it right and insert it into a swap machine to reveal an Orange Star Door. Enter it.
- 8In this room, navigate around Gordo enemies. Grab Code Cube #2 from a small square duct at the top right.
- 9Hop in the Robobot in the duct and enter the door. You'll return to the area before the Orange Star Door. Use the Robobot to destroy the swinging steampunk Bullet Bill-like objects.
- 10Between the first two objects, grab Sticker #2 above. After another object, break a large gray block above a gap between train cars.
- 11Jump on top of the train and follow the path to find the Rare Sticker and a door.
- 12Head right and pick up a giant block with your Robobot to block Gigatzo cannons. Do this again for an upward-firing Gigatzo.
- 13Continue right to a dock. Leave your Robobot and grab the battery underneath it.
- 14Carry the battery left through a Kirby-sized gap past the cannon you blocked. Insert it into a swap machine to swap a Gordo for Code Cube #3.
- 15Return to your Robobot. Continue right and hit the switch at the end to make a Warpstar appear. Do not take it yet.
- 16Head back to where you got Code Cube #3 to find a new 3D Warpstar that takes you to the background.
- 17Head all the way back right to the end of the train. Smack the Waddle Dee and enter the Orange Star Door behind him.
- 18In this room, collect the three 1-Ups in the background if desired. Continue through the vent to the top right to the next room.
- 19This is the first HAL Room. Pick between the Jet, Hammer, Mirror, or a random Copy Ability from the Roulette Copy Essence. Find Sticker #3 in the middle of the blocks spelling HAL.
- 20Hop on the 3D Warpstar to land where the previous Warpstar would have taken you. Enter the nearby Robobot and follow it to the end.
- 21Fight the two green R.O.B.-like robots, then face the mini-boss Gigavolt.
Tips
- The Clown Acrobat's Circus ability is considered one of the worst in the game; it's best to avoid swallowing it.
- The Orange Star Door rooms are designed to emphasize the 3D effect, but can be navigated without it.
- The HAL Room offers a choice of abilities; consider which one best suits your playstyle or the upcoming challenge.
- The mini-boss Gigavolt can be defeated by destroying its arms and then unscrewing the giant screw on its head.

Vs. Gigavolt
- Stats / Weaknesses: Unknown, but its arms and head-screw are vulnerable.
- Phases:
- Phase 1: Destroy both arms by hitting them until they break, revealing a screw. Unscrew the revealed screws.
- Phase 2: After destroying both arms, you will be flung to Gigavolt's head. Rapidly unscrew the giant screw on its head to defeat it.
- Strategy:
- Dodge Gigavolt's arm slams and any missiles it fires.
- Focus attacks on one arm at a time until it breaks.
- Once an arm is broken, attack the exposed screw.
- Repeat for the other arm.
- In the final phase, quickly spin the screw on its head to win.
