Learn the best strategies and tips to defeat the Mimic Master boss in the Mirage Arena in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX. Master its attacks and emerge victorious!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Mimic Master's attacks can be countered for major damage or leave you vulnerable.
• White beams do minimal damage; black beams blind you.
• The Mimic Master can light itself on fire and fly around for medium damage.
• It summons a multitude of cards and clones.

Phases:

1. Beam Attack: The Mimic Master summons rotating white and black beams. White books do minimal damage, but black ones will blind you. You can't run during this. Dodge the beams and get hits in when possible. Use Esuna if you have it to cure blind.
2. Fiery Flight: The Mimic Master lights itself on fire and flies around you for medium damage. Dodge this attack and wait for it to end. Counter it with a Shotlock as the Mimic Master will take time to rest afterward.
3. Cards and Clones: This is perhaps the hardest part. The Mimic Master summons a multitude of cards and clones. Each card destroyed is gone for good. Each card NOT destroyed will spawn a new clone once you defeat it. An area-of-effect attack like Mega Flare is recommended. Alternatively, use Vanish and destroy most of the cards before taking out the clones.

Strategy:

• When the Mimic Master resurfaces after its attacks, use your Shotlock to deal good damage and hopefully finish the fight.
• For the card and clone phase, consider using an area-of-effect attack like Mega Flare.
• If you have trouble with the clones, Vanish can help you manage them before dealing with the spawned clones.
• Always be ready to dodge its various attacks, especially the blinding beams and the fiery flight.
• Having Esuna available can be very helpful to cure the blind status effect from the black beams.
