BOSS - Axel

Axel is significantly stronger than before. He uses Fire Wall, which you should break, and the new Firetooth sleight, which can deplete your health in one use. Card break Firetooth, where Axel throws his chakram. After Axel reaches 50% health, he will summon fireballs that rebound off walls, making them very hard to dodge; card break this attack.

Axel doesn't use sleights often, so utilize your own. The Riku and Jafar-Genie Enemy Cards are useful for preventing your cards from being broken and keeping them in hand. If you have Demyx, load up on Blizzards and use Blizzaga for significant damage. Axel drops the Axel Enemy Card.

BOSS - Marluxia

Marluxia has several sleights, the most dangerous being Blossom Shower. This attack involves Marluxia teleporting, striking multiple times, slamming his scythe down, and summoning petals. Unless you have a revive ready, this sleight often ends the fight; break it.

Deathscythe is also deadly but somewhat avoidable; err on the side of caution and break it. Drop Shot is used late in the fight; focus on defeating him with your own sleights. Use a Vexen card to save yourself and Riku/Jafar-Genie to get hits in without being broken. The Roxas Enemy Card is ideal for double x3 damage (1.5 x 2). Marluxia drops the Marluxia Enemy Card.

BOSS - Marluxia: Second Form

This battle is easier than the previous, but Marluxia has advantages. You must destroy the arm-scythes to damage the main body, requiring you to dodge Marluxia’s attacks. When rose buds appear, break Marluxia’s attack or destroy the buds, as they fire lasers when you are hit. When Marluxia forms a ball of darkness, break the attack to prevent card values from becoming hidden. Marluxia can also toss energy balls, which are easy to dodge. The rose petal attack, accompanied by a scene, should be broken as it does significant damage and is unavoidable. Take out the scythes immediately, then focus on breaking attacks and landing combos. Sleights are largely ineffective.

BOSS - Marluxia: Third Form

Marluxia uses recognizable sleights. Gale of Severance (8-8-8) blows you back and deals little damage. Whirlwind of the Void (7-7-7) knocks all your cards out and scatters them, which is annoying but does little damage. Doom (6-6-6) should be broken quickly; failing to do so requires breaking six cards or dying, so switch to 0s and 9s. Circle Reject (5-5-5) causes Marluxia to smash his scythe, sending out a high wave that is difficult to jump over and deals heavy damage; break it if you cannot jump it. Omni Laser (4-4-4) can kill you easily; break this sleight. Attack Marluxia after breaking his sleights.
