Unlock all achievements and trophies in Katana ZERO with our comprehensive guide. Includes a roadmap for first playthrough and clean-up, plus detailed descriptions for each achievement.

This section lists all achievements and trophies for Katana ZERO, along with a roadmap to help you earn them efficiently. Achievements are referred to as achievements for simplicity.

The game is currently available on Nintendo Switch and PC/Mac, with potential future releases on PS4 and Xbox.

Road Map

Katana ZERO features a well-designed achievement system. Most achievements can be unlocked during a main playthrough, with a few requiring post-game content. Each stage has multiple checkpoints, allowing you to replay sections without completing entire missions.

First Playthrough

During your first playthrough, follow the main Walkthrough section of the guide to unlock the following achievements:

  • Prism Key
  • Master Key
  • What a bad idea
  • Prototype Key
  • Party Animal
  • No love for robots
  • Coffin Head
  • Beatdown
  • Phoenix Key
  • The End
  • The Dragon's Tape
  • Savant Key
  • Secret Hunter
  • Forbidden Ultimate Danger Tempest...
  • Funny Prank
  • To be continued

While all keys are collected during this playthrough, they can only be used after completing the game and accessing the Government Lab, an extra secret stage unlocked via the Mission Select menu.

Clean Up

Your second playthrough serves as a clean-up run for the remaining achievements. The following achievements are unlocked during this phase:

  • Psychotherapy: This is the most involved achievement, requiring you to replay several missions to defeat the game's secret boss. Refer to the Secret Boss section for details.
  • Don't Hang Up: During the Factory mission, repeatedly hang up the phone early in the level until the option is no longer available. This is also part of the Psychotherapy achievement.
  • Refused Medication: In the Club mission, towards the end, you'll receive a phone call. Instead of talking to the DJ, hang up immediately (part of Psychotherapy) and confront the DJ. After listening to the DJ, refuse to take your medication when offered by the Psychiatrist to unlock this achievement. Refusing medication is also required for Psychotherapy.
