Guide to Inside Chapter 18. Learn how to navigate past deadly turrets, restore power to an elevator, and escape the room. Avoid the searchlights!

Alright, we're heading into Chapter 18! As you enter this next area, you'll spot a control panel on the wall. Don't worry about that just yet. Keep moving all the way to the right. You'll notice some turrets in the background that aren't active right now, and some columns in the foreground. At the very end on the right, there's an elevator. Go ahead and interact with its door to pull it open.

Bummer, the elevator's dead – no power. So, we need to backtrack to where we came in and interact with that control panel we ignored earlier to get things running again.

Heads up: Restoring power to the elevator also wakes up those turrets in the background. They've got searchlights that sweep across the room, and if you get caught in one, it's instant death. We'll need to be sneaky!

Here's the plan: Stay near the control panel for now. Watch the first turret's searchlight. Wait until it sweeps all the way to the right, then follow it. Stop when you reach the first column for cover. When the searchlight sweeps back to the left, move up just a bit. Now, wait for the second turret's searchlight and follow that one back to the right, hiding behind the second column. Once it's clear, make a quick dash for the elevator – it should be open by now. Hop in and hit the button immediately to close the doors.

Once the elevator gets to the top, just exit through the door on your right. Easy peasy!
