Shoot down jetpack Brutes with the battle rifle.

Hold out until Pelicans arrive; a Covenant dropship will deposit Brutes.

Retreat to the base at the top of the hill and let them come to you.

Find a sniper rifle in one structure and a gun turret in another.

Use the sniper rifle to pick off smaller Brutes, then switch to the gun turret when they get close.

After the first wave, search the carnage for bubble shields and a Fuel Rod Gun.

Save Fuel Rods for the incoming Wraith.

Return to the top of the hill with a battle rifle and fuel rod.

Focus on jetpack Brutes flanking you, then other Brutes, and finally the Chieftain.

Use the fuel rod gun to destroy the Wraith that arrives after the second wave of Brutes.

A Warthog is deployed; use it to head into the next area.

Jump out of the Warthog at the sight of Brute Choppers and commandeer one by sniping the drivers.

Use the Brute Chopper to destroy the two red gun turrets.

Return to the firefight and deal with remaining Choppers.

A second, specialized Warthog is deployed; continue through the tunnel flanked by turrets.

In the next area, take it slow to get more (checkpoints) and only engage one or two Choppers at a time.

Do not ram a Chopper head-on.

When Wraiths appear, deal with all Choppers first, then pull back out of Wraith range and let Choppers come to you.

If you have fuel rods left, use them to destroy Wraiths on foot.

Attack Brutes hiding among purple walls on the highway overpass, ensuring all Wraiths are dealt with.

For the second line of defense, shoot the red turret on top of the box left of the main gate.

Stay back next to the downed Pelican and kill everything from there.

Smash the shield generator to proceed after all Choppers are subdued.

Two Pelicans land, and Miranda relays news to Lord Hood, who gives a speech about the attack.

In Ghost Town, head to the first garage door.

Jump onto crates and move along catwalks to reach the gate opener above.

Kill the enemies in the room and proceed to the next gate.

Follow the upper ramp, tossing grenades down at clusters of enemies.
