Alright, let's dive into ALT://R1B1, also known as PID Search. This is your second expedition in ALT://Rundown 1.0, and it's where you'll first get a taste of the 'Gather Items' objective. Your main goal here is to find 12 Personnel IDs (PIDs) scattered across several zones. Don't worry, you don't have to explore every single nook and cranny; there are a few different paths you can take to grab those PIDs.

Main Objective: You need to find 12 Personnel IDs (PIDs). There are a total of 18 PIDs available across zones 39-45, so you have some flexibility.

Option 1: Zones 43-45
- Head into Zone 43. Be ready for a CLASS II ALARM. Grab the PIDs here. You'll also find a Colored Key in this zone, which is super useful for unlocking Zone 39 later.

Next, push into Zone 44. This one's a CLASS III ALARM, so expect more trouble. Collect the PIDs.

Finally, brave Zone 45, another CLASS III ALARM zone. Secure the remaining PIDs you need.

Option 2: Zones 41-42
- Enter Zone 41 and start collecting PIDs. Keep an eye out, as this zone has a Scout.

Move on to Zone 42, which also contains a Scout. Grab the PIDs here.

Option 3: Zones 39-40
- Important: You'll need the Colored Key from Zone 43 to access these zones.

Enter Zone 39 and collect PIDs. Be warned, this zone is packed with Giants and Big Shooters, so tread carefully!

Proceed to Zone 40, which also has a high concentration of Giants and Big Shooters. Gather the PIDs here.

Extraction: Once you've collected at least 12 PIDs, make your way back to the entry point and extract.

Tips

Recommended Path: For a smoother run, try this route: Enter Zone 43 (grab the key!), then Zone 44, followed by Zone 41, then Zone 42, and finally Zone 39. This way, you can often get enough PIDs without needing to tackle the tough Zone 45 with its CLASS III ALARM.
Resource Management: Check the 'Resources % per Zone' table below. Zone 38 has fewer resources (20% Ammo, Medi, Tool), while zones 39-45 offer a generous 40% Ammo, 60% Medi, and 40% Tool. Plan your scavenging accordingly!
Enemy Awareness: Pay close attention to the enemy types listed. Zones 39 and 40 are particularly dangerous due to the high number of Giants and Big Shooters. Scouts in Zones 41 and 42 can alert other enemies, so deal with them quickly.
