Mission 2: Borderline

Alright, let's get you through Mission 2: Borderline. This one puts you in the boots of Sergeant Major Rodolfo (Rudy) Parra, working alongside Colonel Alejandro Vargas. The mission kicks off with a briefing from Kate Laswell, who tasks Alejandro with stopping Major Hassan Zyani from crossing the border, with a little help from the Las Almas Cartel. Things get heated fast. You'll see the Cartel using migrants as a distraction while they try to get Hassan over the wall. Alejandro and Rudy will spot their boat and the chase is on. Even though you'll be crossing into the US, you'll have to pursue Hassan through a town. Keep an eye out as you go through townhouses – the Cartel is trying to get Hassan to a safe house. Watch out for an incoming explosive near the safe house blockade. This is your cue to open fire on the Cartel. After you clear them out outside, Rudy will head inside the house while Alejandro covers the exterior. Rudy will encounter some resistance on the first floor, but the real trouble starts on the second. Hassan will ambush Rudy, injure him, and then order the house set on fire. Even though Rudy wants to go after Hassan, Alejandro will step in to rescue him just as the house goes up in flames. The mission ends with Alejandro saving Rudy. As for your loadout, you'll start with the X12 pistol, complete with a CN30 Suppressor and Armor Piercing rounds. You'll also find other weapons like the P890, Bryson 800, M16, M4, Kastov 762, Kastov 545, Kastov-74u, and the MX9 throughout the level.
