Pure Platinum Requirements: To earn a Pure Platinum award for a chapter, every single verse within that chapter must achieve a Pure Platinum rating. This means no hits taken and maintaining a high combo throughout.

Witch Time: Witch Time is not available on Nonstop Climax, making combos harder to maintain and score higher.

Enemy Stun Guard: Enemies have a strong stun guard, meaning they can interrupt your combos. Never assume an enemy is trapped in your combo.

Cheap Trick #1 (Pulley's Butterfly): Equip Pulley's Butterfly accessory. When active, taking hits will not count against your Pure Platinum status, significantly easing the difficulty.

Cheap Trick #2 (Lieutenant Kilgore Bug): Use a weapon combination with Kilgore and Durga (e.g., Durga on feet, Kilgore on feet). Perform a specific kick combo (PPPK~) and switch to Kilgore mid-animation to unleash a massive barrage of rockets, granting huge combo points and damage.

Cheap Trick #3 (Save Scumming): If you fail a verse (get hit or break combo), immediately pause, escape to the title screen, and select Continue. This will reload your last save point, allowing you to retry the verse without replaying the entire chapter.

Maintaining Combos: The key to high scores is to constantly keep the combo multiplier active. Ensure at least one attack window remains on screen at all times.

Using Guns for Combos: Shooting enemies with your equipped guns (Square button) will keep the combo window active for an additional 3 seconds after you stop shooting. This is crucial for extending combos during lulls.

Taunting for Combos: Taunting freezes the combo windows, preventing them from disappearing. It can be used when no enemies are present to maintain the combo. Taunting an enemy (soft or hard lock-on) also makes them fiery orange, increasing damage taken by 50% but also making them more aggressive.
