So, you're looking to tackle Abzu and snag that Tablet of Destiny? Smart move! This area is a bit tricky to get to, but totally worth it. Let's break down how to get there and what you'll face. ### Accessing Abzu First off, Abzu is hidden deep within the Lake of Fire. You'll find this massive lava lake at the very bottom of 4-3, in the Tide Pool area. Once you're down there, you'll see an Idol sitting in the middle of a mostly empty space. Be careful here! Moving that Idol is going to set off all the Powder Boxes hidden beneath the lava, causing them to rain down. Now, here's a heads-up: the friendly NPC near the door will warn you that you can't just go back the way you came after moving the Idol. The easiest way out is usually to let yourself die and respawn using your Ankh. There are other ways, but the Ankh is pretty straightforward. ### Features of Abzu Abzu itself is a tall, five-layered arena. This is where you'll find Kingu, the boss you need to defeat to get the Tablet of Destiny. * Top Layer: This is where you'll find platforms and entrances to other rooms. It's also where you'll hop onto Kingu's back. * Middle Area: This is Kingu's main hangout spot. * Backlayer: You'll use this to climb up to the top of the arena. Keep an eye out for Giant Clams here. * Spawn Area: This is where you'll start, filled with typical Tide Pool enemies. The exit is on the far right, and there's an entrance to the backlayer near the water. * The Water: This part has no bottom, and watch out for Tentacles that'll try to pull you down. In the upper part of the water, you might find a Coffin that initially holds Tina Flan. ### Strategy for Kingu To make the Kingu fight a breeze, you'll definitely want to have Excalibur. Seriously, this sword makes it super easy to just keep hitting her shell until she drops the Tablet of Destiny. Bringing Excalibur to Abzu: It's best to leave Excalibur in the upper part of 4-3 before you go down to trigger the Idol trap. Once you clear the lava and get into Abzu, you can come back up (either after using your Ankh or by carefully navigating the lava) to grab your sword. This way, you won't risk losing it. Important Warning: Try not to bring any flammable Backwear, like the Jetpack, when you do this. If it touches lava, it'll catch fire and be destroyed. Also, be super careful when moving around the lower parts of Abzu. If an enemy knocks you back, you might accidentally drop Excalibur into the deep water, and then it's gone for good. Good news, though: the ghost won't spawn here, so you can take your sweet time looting all the crates and gold without any pressure!
