Post-Race Information

Alright, so you've just crossed the finish line! Now for the important stuff: figuring out how you did and what comes next. After every race, you'll get points based on where you placed. It's pretty straightforward, but let's break it down so you know exactly how many points you're racking up.

Here's how the points shake out depending on how many people were in your race:

• 4-person match: 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd gets 7, 3rd gets 4, and 4th gets 1.
• 3-person match: 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd gets 7, and 3rd gets 4.
• 2-person match: 1st place gets 10 points, and 2nd gets 5.

After that, you'll pick the next course, just like before, and get ready for another race. This keeps going for a total of 4 tracks. Once all four races are done, all those points get tallied up.

Now, here's where it gets interesting: your final rank is determined by how many people you placed higher than. Think of it like this:

• If you came in first in a 4-person race, you get 3 wins added to your record because you beat everyone else.
• If you came in last in that same 4-person race, you get 3 losses because everyone else beat you.
• Ties? They don't count for or against you, so no worries there.

Heads up: If you happen to disconnect during a race, the game automatically slaps you with a loss for every other person in that match. So, if it was a 4-person race and you disconnect, that's 3 losses right there. Try to stay connected!

Once all the races and scoring are done, you'll see two options: 'Continue' or 'Quit'.

• Continue: If you pick this, you'll jump right into another set of 4 races with the same folks who also chose to continue. It's a good way to keep the competition going with the same group.
• Quit: If you're done for the day, or just don't want to race with the current group anymore, hit 'Quit'. This will take you out of the current lobby and back to the main menu.
